About: I grew up on a farm so I have experience with many different kinds of animals as well as administering medications. I have also cared for my own pets from babies through the golden years. I had two cats with diabetes that required sugar tests and insulin shots. I currently have a sheltie that is high energy and loves play time. My husband and I currently work from home so we are available to your beloved member of the family as requested. We are usually up around 7am and go to sleep about 10pm With a fenced in yard, play time can be any time for as long as they want. There are also some nice walking areas around my home that are very low in traffic as it is usually just the fellow home owners around.

About: Hi! I have experience caring for my family's elderly cat that passed away a few years ago. He had incontinence issues and seizures in the last few years of his life. I made sure to bathe him and love him through the end. Now I am the owner of two 1 year old cats that are beyond spoiled! I love cats and have taken care of many throughout the years. Preferably would like to service closer to Wytheville but will travel in some cases, extra fees will apply depending on distance! Please check your location and the distance between us before you book! I currently have a full time job but I am looking to quit so I can focus on doing nails and going to school part time for that but I need a side hustle! I live in a school bus so I don't really have tons of room to take care of pets there but I am more than willing to come to their homes, I'd prefer that the pet is comfortable as possible and I cannot stay overnight in a home but I can stay as long as needed to make sure the care requirements are met

I have helped change diapers, clean up messes, give relaxing baths, and provide as much exercise as possible for any pets I have watched over the years. As a professional housekeeper, no incontinence issue is too much for me! As long as your fur baby is happy and safe. I am currently on leave without pay from my full time job (until an undetermined time) so I have open availability to pet sit this summer for anyone who plans on taking a little vacation! I treat all pets with kindness and patience, always keeping in mind that any "aggression" is just a tiny animal who may be scared or hurting. Every animal is different and I'm always willing to learn how to keep each one safe depending on what the owner wants. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a potter who works from my home studio, and I make my own schedule- so I can generally be flexible and accommodate your pets needs. I love having pets in my home, and breaking away from my studio to get some fresh air and puppy/kitty love too! If I’m working on a big project, it’s nice to have to flexibility to come and go from my studio when possible, or have your pet there with me- but I have worked out all kinds of house sit/drop in/boarding arrangements according to the needs of clients and their pets.
