“It’s been just over a year now that Lindsay has been taking care of my cat, so I wanted to leave a quick updated review. She’s incredible with my cat who doesn’t like most people, and they now have their own routine. Also, my cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and Lindsay is able to administer her methimazole ear prep twice a day, without any issue and stress, which I’m still working on. If you are looking for an amazing cat sitter who is dependable, professional and caring, then look no further.”

“Erin house-sat for us when we needed a cat sitter for four days on short notice. She was amazing! Her connection to the kitties and thoughtful, conscientious approach to the care of our beloved companions set my mind at ease. It was clear from our first conversation that she was trustworthy and dependable, which was reassuring since we've never had a house-sitter. We have a senior cat who requires twice-daily medication and Erin handled all his special needs. She communicated clearly, left the house in excellent condition, and is also just a wonderful person all around!”

“Janice goes above and beyond with my extra temperamental cat! I totally trust her to spend time with and feed Jan her rather complicated dinner order. I always feel at ease when I know Janice is on duty and have booked repeatedly!”

“Venetia was so lovely with our dog who can be difficult with strangers. She was communicative throughout the whole process and flexible with our last minute travel changes. I couldn't ask for a better sitter.”

About: Friend to all animals.✨ I have walked and dog-sat two pitbulls (ages: 2 and six months) on a weekly basis since the fall of 2022. My additional clients include mutts, a pug, a belgian shepherd, dobermans, and more, ages ranging 10 weeks - five years. I have stuck with some clients for over a year until their schedules changed or they moved, and with some dogs on a temporary basis. I am intent on working with the owners to adapt to their training methods for their fur-babies and enforcing those gently. Walks are enjoyable for both the dogs and me: I keep it lax and adapt to what they want in that moment. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and fur-babies alike since I was 15, when I would dog-sit and walk for family friends. I’ve had varying dog sitting and cat sitting gigs (both day visits and overnights) since then, some of which included overnight stays. Pet care is great supplemental time with pets and additional income while I full work remotely. I am flexible to work with clients on their schedules/their adorable pets schedules. I am also available some nights and weekends. My top priority besides providing love, fun and stimulation to your pets is their safety: both for their sake and my own. Making sure that we discuss your yard set up especially your fencing, and indoor set up (do you have animal gates/baby gates set up, areas they’re not permitted in), etc. Communication is key and I would love to know what works for your animal: what boundaries are set and what they’re comfortable with.

She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. I felt completely confident that Tsubaki was in great hands.”

About: Growing up we always had animals in the home. Dogs and cats mostly! Over the past 7 years I’ve had the privilege of taking care of my friends fur babies (although I often feel as if they’re taking care of me). This included walking, grooming, feeding, and of course play time! I have experience in administering medicine to both dogs and cats. My last furry friend was a gorgeous black cat I rescued off the streets. Unfortunately, not long after we brought him home, he ended up being diagnosed with FeLV. It was a long and often tiring road but I would do it all over again for that special guy! While I’m extremely heartbroken we lost him, I am so grateful I got to experience, at least once in my life, such a special bond. This taught me a lot about caring for animals with serious health issues and deepened my appreciation for them on a new level. My schedule often fluctuates, as I’ve started a new job but I am open to all sorts of Dogs/Cats! I am energetic and love the outdoors so walks and play time come easy to me. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I feel they play an important role as a family member and therefore deserve to be treated like one! Please reach out if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting you and your beloved four-legged friend! - Ava Pet care is a daily necessity when you have the privilege of having a pet. These days I don’t but I hope that I have the privilege of taking care of yours! I think great care starts before I come to your home! I like to spend a little time getting to know if you have any primary concerns for your furry friend. If possible I like to keep a record of emergency contacts, vet info, feeding instruction (if any specific), medications, and alarm codes or instructions to enter the home. Before I leave I also like to triple check that all gates , doors, and fences are properly closed and locked.

“Theresa is a wonderful sitter, we know that we can rely on her, and our beloved cat is always clearly well taken care of when we come back. She is kind, professional, responsive. Theresa is the best!”

Hannah C.
“Hannah has loved animals her entire life. All of her toys as a kid were animal related. She had a white lab, Samantha, when she was very young and always took tried to care for "her" dog. As she grew up, Hannah had a variety of pets ranging from rabbits, to hamsters to fish and frogs. Her favorite animal was always a giraffe. We are thankful there were no shelter giraffes in our area. If the teacher needed a student to take the class animal home for the holidays, Hannah always volunteered. The teacher had no issues with giving her this responsibility since Hannah always took great care of them in class. Hannah always asked for a dog growing up. She had many friends who had dogs and she would enjoy going to their houses and playing with them. Once again, when her friends would go on vacation, they would ask Hannah to watch their dog because they knew she would take great care of them. Finally, Hannah was able to get a dog, a rescue dog, Fynn, and she's the best Dog Mom. She provides Fynn with everything he could need from toys, to cookies, to medicine to plenty of activities to keep Fynn in shape. Fynn loves Hannah and is very sad when Hannah is not around. Hannah continues to watch other dogs when their owners need some help. The owners know their pets will be in good hands when they're with Hannah.”

Lucy S.

“Lucy went above and beyond our expectations caring for our dog. We would definitely be using Lucy again!”

Bethany R.
“I have known Bethany for over 15 years and have found her to be one of the most responsible reliable and caring young ladies I have ever come across. I have seen Bethany in action with her own pets and she has always been kind sensitive loving and compassionate in caring for them. I am absolutely certain that she would do the same for any animal under her care.”

Alexa T.

“Where to start with Alexa. We absolutely love her. I was a little nervous to use the Rover site, as I am picky over who watches our dogs, but Alexa has become a part of our family. We started using her about two years ago to walk our puppy pitbull. Ryder was not an easy dog to watch or walk at first. He had behavioral problems and was terrible on his walks. This did not deter Alexa and she showed up on time whenever I needed her. She is very responsible and always listens to my directions with him. We now have another puppy pitbull and whenever they hear “Alexa” they get super excited. Alexa has been great with the both of them. She is aware of her surroundings on walks, always on the look out for other dogs or squirrels, and gives them plenty of attention. We’ve grown to love and trust her and she now stays over our house while we are out of town. We use her for walks and sometimes have her sit in the house for the day while I’m in the office. We are so happy to have found Alexa, there’s no one else I trust with our pups!”

Michelle M.

“Thank you for hanging with Lewy! Communcation was awesome, all my animals were comfortable. I will definitely book again!”
