CATS WELCOME I worked for a well known (ask) NYC dog training/walking/sitting agency for years prior to COVID and have been freelancing as a dog trainer and caretaker since. This is my first choice career, not a job, to me. I might speak your language as I speak a few, for instance German! I trained my own service dog to certification. I can’t wait to meet your doggo! This is my full time job! The dogs in my care, and their needs, determine my routine! I spend most my time outdoors with dogs, whenever possible. Clients wishes are priority, but I am happy to offer advice if asked. I like to keep dogs in a pack for socializing but that is optional. If you prefer, I take your dog on private walks

About: I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.
