About: i’ve had a various amount of pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents. My mom owned a boarding facility and grooming shop and during summers I would spend my time there and when I got older, I would work with her on the weekends grooming dogs. when I was 16, I started working on an animal hospital where I took care of the patients after school as well as on the weekends. This included their hospital cats, snake, as well as a little aquarium they had. I went to college at SUNY Delhi for their veterinary science program and I also was on Rover for a couple years before I shut down my account because all my clientele had moved and I found out I was having my first child. But now I’m back! If you stumble on another Kylie B that is my old account! i’m a stay at home mom for the time being so my schedule is very open. i’ll be available all day unless I have prior engagements. I cannot unfortunately pet sit in my own home, but I’m more than available to pet sit in a client’s home. I used to dogsit and cat sit as well as house sit for my one client and I would stay at their house all week taking care of their pets needs.

Emily watched our senior chihuahua for several days while we were traveling for a wedding, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She took wonderful care of him. She provided us detailed updates, and our boy was so comfortable with her. Thank you for everything, Emily!

Elizabeth performed brilliantly -- she completed all requests without fail and provided plenty of photographic and written responses. She was timely in arranging service initially. And she managed the visits and house key drop-off well. We appreciated her willingness to commit to providing care with short notice. Thanks!

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—whether it’s been my own pets, helping out friends, or rescuing strays in need. Both of my cats were rescued by me, and I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. They’re drawn to me, and I love giving them the same trust and affection they show me. I grew up with big dogs, including two pit bulls and a boxer, so I’m confident and comfortable handling larger breeds. Over the years, I’ve potty trained dogs, taught tricks, and cared for pets with all kinds of temperaments. My experience goes beyond cats and dogs—I’ve also cared for frogs, snakes, turtles, and even had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand. My love for animals runs so deep that I’ve been vegan for over a decade. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. What I Offer 🐾 A 100% open and flexible schedule—your pets will always get the time, love, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and special needs. 🐾 Patience, playfulness, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime, or extra TLC, I’ll treat your fur babies like they’re my own. I have a completely open and flexible schedule, available any day and time. Since I mostly work from home, I can easily accommodate bookings, cancellations, last-minute changes, and special requests. The only exception is occasional weekend evenings after 5 PM, when I work at The Colony in Woodstock. Other than that, I’m always here for you and your pets! I live in a spacious three-bedroom, 2 story home with a large open yard, perfect for pets to play and explore. Your furry friend will have plenty of room to stretch, run, and enjoy the outdoors while getting all the exercise and fresh air they need to stay happy and healthy.

Alisa was absolutely fantastic with my dog, Tsubaki. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly has a natural way with animals. After just one visit, Tsubaki was actually smiling when Alisa arrived for her next walk! I also hired Alisa for overnight sitting, and everything went smoothly. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. I felt completely confident that Tsubaki was in great hands.

About: Dog professional back on Rover! Tons of additional references available! I do everything dog. Dog CPR certified. Walks, Pet Care, and Training. Pickup/ Drop off! CATS WELCOME I worked for a well known (ask) NYC dog training/walking/sitting agency for years prior to COVID and have been freelancing as a dog trainer and caretaker since. This is my first choice career, not a job, to me. I might speak your language as I speak a few, for instance German! I trained my own service dog to certification. I can’t wait to meet your doggo! This is my full time job! The dogs in my care, and their needs, determine my routine! I spend most my time outdoors with dogs, whenever possible. Clients wishes are priority, but I am happy to offer advice if asked. I like to keep dogs in a pack for socializing but that is optional. If you prefer, I take your dog on private walks

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Andes

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
