“Andy is the best pet sitter any pet parent can ask for. We had to go out of the country for two weeks, the longest we’ve been away from home and pet. Andy took care of our home and looked after our cat during the entire time, playing with her, keeping her engaged and sending us constant updates and pictures of her. By the end of the stay the two had bonded which was really surprising to us considering our cat gets nervous when we leave. About: I grew up around animals. My senior bichon-poodle passed away in June 2024. Although I am not ready to commit to another pet I am committed to hanging out with your fur baby auntie style! I love staying active and I walk/run every morning and it would be more motivating with a furry friend who loves walks too. *I work as a medical assistant and have past experience with senior dogs so I am comfortable giving medications* I work full time but have time to walk/check on your fur baby Wednesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's in the mornings. I am off Saturday through Monday ! I care for pets as if they’re my own. I’ll treat them with care and compassion. The park I live by is a great place for a good morning walk.

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian, describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so that’s my only restriction. I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.

About: I have a 9 year old goldendoodle at home with my parents. Before getting him when I was 13 years old, I had been begging my parents for 5 years. I would walk other peoples dogs, write essays, research on how to train and take care of dogs. Eventually my parents gave in but they made me do all the work (which I was so happy to do). I walked him, taught him how to swim, went on many hiking adventures, and even ended up training him to be a therapy dog. Now he is older, I love to snuggle him, take him on slow morning walks, and just sit by his side outside. I just moved to San Francisco and am missing my dog dearly so I would love to help you take care of your dog or pet. I currently am working full time so I am available any day after 5:30pm. I am also available all day on the weekends. I cannot house pets in my current apartment but I am willing to travel. I will take care of your pets by your directions. In my home we feed my dog twice a day, he's not allowed to go into certain parts of the home, has to sit and ask to go outside. For walks, I trained my dog to walk on leash with no pulling or off leash. I am comfortable with whatever and will follow your direction and rules for your dog. Consistency is key for pet behavior

About: Fur babies are no different than human babies, and I think they deserve even more care and attention when they are with a sitter since they miss their owners and already experience some level of separation anxiety. Good news is with me your dog will be so busy playing with another puppy during the day, and exploring parks, beach, hikes, or walking around time after my normal work hours. If they get too dirty while playing grooming Is available in house , and training can be offered for dogs that are too disobedient per your request. Tail wagging guaranteed! I work remote Friday & Monday allowing me flexibility to take care of other dogs. I have a very friendly chow, and am looking for new play buddies for him on the weekends. I no longer accept Pets into my own home, but open to sitting at pet parents house. Letting the dog be on or off leash is based on owner discretion.

My schedule is flexible and I’m taking on walks or visits within downtown or little Italy area of San Diego until the end of October. After that I’ll have more flexibility with location! I work remote and like to break up the day! On many days I can schedule around the needs of the pet and be sure to be available for walks and feeding time! I’m attentive and careful. I always like to know if your dog does ok with other dogs but I normally avoid interaction just in case. I’d also like to have vet info just in case. Better to be prepared even though I do not expect any incident. My full time role is fully remote and the schedule is flexible which means I am able to walk dogs before I start my day or during my lunch break! About: I’ve been responsible for taking care of my family’s dogs, foster dogs, neighbors cats, and other friends pets of all sorts since I was 15, and have always loved giving them not only food and water but also the love and activity they need to thrive! I’ve taken dogs for long or short walks, stopped in to feed cats, or stayed overnight for multiple days for full pet care experience. I’ve missed caring for pets since moving away for school and am excited to spend time with animals again, especially by taking them on walks around the neighborhoods or caring for them in their homes! I’m working full time, but some days I work from home and am very active on weekends and evenings - which is especially why I’m looking to walk dogs, including them in this active lifestyle outside of weekday 9-5 work. As I am mostly looking to walk dogs or house sit. I am very focused on safety and trust in terms of keeping dogs in pedestrian friendly areas and away from busy streets, and am prepared to bring all of the bags and treats needed to keep dogs happy and the environment cleaned up after them.
