About: Hi, I’m Maral (pronounced Mer-All)—a professional dog trainer with a deep passion for helping dogs become calm, confident companions. My journey began over a decade ago when I helped raise and train a Doberman puppy who grew into a happy- go-lucky 120-lb giant. That experience sparked my dedication to not just caring for dogs, but helping them thrive. Today, I bring a thoughtful, psychology-based approach to every walk, visit, and day camp session. With a background in balanced dog training, and hands on experience with 100’s of dogs, I focus on fulfillment, clarity, and structure—giving dogs what they need to regulate their excitement, build confidence, and feel grounded in their environment. Unlike traditional pet care, my services are designed to enrich your dog’s mind and manners simultaneously. I implement threshold awareness, leash work, and real-world obedience into every visit. Reactive dog? I will keep them under threshold. Powerful Pup? I have one too! I know how to stand my ground. Shy with new people? I know just how to turn down the pressure. Extra Energetic? I’ll bring my flirt pole or tug toy, and we can work thier mind while also working thier body. For interested clients, I can also introduce crate training or work on off-leash remote collar training—always with clarity and care. Whether your dog is nervous and unsure or strong-willed and overstimulated, they’re in calm, capable hands. My goal is simple: to help fulfill your dog - while improving your lives on the trail, on the sofa, or on the sidewalk. Because I am self employed, I have all the flexibility in my scheduling to be able to accommodate whatever you and your pet might need. I am comfortable administering medication to both dogs and cats, as well as caring for any other pets present in the home in the case of house visits. I will always make sure waters have been topped up before leaving your home. I send daily videos of how things are going, where we went for walks, and training.

“Taylor really enjoyed her first visit with Jake. She got so much attention and exercise and can’t wait to come back for more! Jake is a great communicator he and his daughter are so attentive!”

“Cheryl has been so flexible with Watson and I. He loves his visits and is well walked and ready to chill once he’s at home.”

“(I really appreciate your flexibility, Dennis, on the timing. I will endeavor to NOT need to do that in the future however.) Dennis gained my confidence almost immediately. This was our second time there, and yes my dog came home happy. But most important, she was VERY happy to go there! Ran me up the steps. YAY!”

“Very nice and easy to work with.”

“What a wonderful experience for our dogs Laffy and Layla. They were welcomed so warmly by Miriam and felt right at home. Miriam is so friendly, competent, knows what she is doing - even with a quite shy and a very anxious dog. Her dog is so super sweet and got our big boy to quickly fall for her. All was relaxed.”

About: I have lived with dogs and cats most of my life (grew up with 7 of them!) I currently own one five year old cat named Cleo who is very friendly with people and pets. In addition to being a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society, I also love to dog sit as much as I can. I work from home full time so I have a very flexible schedule for walking and daily drop ins. Your animal will never be left alone! I also live across the street from the Marin Headlands which offers tons of great dog friendly trails. I am an experienced sitter and promise to treat your pet like I would treat my own! I work from home full time and have a very flexible work schedule, which means lots of time for walks outside in the Marin Headlands! I have an 8x10 outdoor deck with a great view, and also live next to miles of dog friendly hiking trails in the headlands which I frequent daily.

“Arianna took great day care of my pup. She was so responsive in her messaging. She thoughtfully responded to my dog’s particular needs. I would feel safe and happy with my dog in her care anytime!”

“The perfect play spot and care in the North Bay! Isabel took great care of my English Springer Spaniel. She and her husband helped him feel right at home and make new friends too. If you’re looking for a Walker or care in the Bay Area who you can trust and rest assured your dog’s in great hands: I’d throughly recommend Isabel.”

About: Caring for pets is an incredibly rewarding experience. What sets me apart from other caregivers is my passion for animals and my unique skill set. I create a loving and safe environment for pets, where their well-being and happiness are paramount. I have a special talent for puppy training, helping them learn essential commands and social skills. Additionally, my grooming skills ensure that pets not only feel great but also look their best. With my dedication and expertise, I provide holistic care that goes beyond the basics, making me a standout pet caregiver. Pet care routines can vary based on the type of pet you have, but here are some common tasks that can fit into a daily or weekly routine: 1. Feeding: Providing your pet with regular and appropriate meals is typically a daily task. 2. Exercise: Depending on the pet, daily exercise such as walks, playtime, or outdoor time may be necessary. 3. Grooming: Brushing, bathing, and other grooming tasks are often done weekly or as needed. 4. Training: If you're training a pet, daily or weekly training sessions are essential for their development. 5. Health Check: Regularly check your pet's overall health, which can include inspections for signs of illness or injury. 6. Cleaning: Cleaning your pet's living area, like a litter box or enclosure, is typically done daily or weekly. 7. Social Interaction: Spending quality time with your pet, offering affection and companionship, should be part of your daily routine. Your specific routine will depend on the type and needs of your pet. Client-House Pet Care: When caring for pets at the client's home, adaptability and respect for the pet's routine are key. This may include: 1. Following the client's instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication. 2. Keeping their living space clean and organized. 3. Providing companionship and playtime. 4. Ensuring the pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. 5. Communicating with the client about the pet's well-being and any concerns. My specific approach may vary depending on the requirements and needs.

“Maral is the real deal dog-whisperer. We never like to leave our fur-baby behind and were very nervous about being out of town on an extended vacation. We have a mid-sized dog (50 lbs.) who is a bit anxious and can sometimes be skittish around other male dogs. We needed to know (practically and for peace of mind on the trip) that he was in the hands of someone who had the experience and know-how of handling dogs in a variety of settings. Maral has such a calm demeanor and instantly connected with our dog. She followed our feeding/walking schedule but also added extra doggie adventures during the week. We loved receiving the photo updates of our happy pup! We’ve had Maral dog-sit numerous times and our dog is always excited to see her again.”

“Lisette (Lisy for short) has been wonderful with both my dog and cat.
