Ficklen and Thatcher had the best time with Melissa and Reece. In every picture, they had the biggest smiles, I was worried they wouldn’t want to come home after their stay. ☺️ We received an update and pictures every day and they had a great space to run and play with other dogs. Melissa came to our house to meet Ficklen and Thatcher before their stay to learn about them and their personalities - and to ensure it was a good fit. Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely book again! It is a great feeling to know your pups are being taken care of and loved on when you are not able to be home with them. Thank you!!

So happy we found Lorraine and we didn’t have to leave our dog Petey at the kennel. Petey loves to run and play with new friends and he got to do just that! Lorraine sent us photos and videos every day that helped put our mind at ease. We will definitely use her again.

Gary and Becky took great care of my special needs (epileptic) dog in their home for 4 nights. They administered medication, followed my detailed care instructions and helped to make him feel at home! They were quick to communicate and sent lots of photos. I will definitely be contacting them next time I need a pet sitter.

Carol and her family were very welcoming of Remy and they took him in right at the last minute as another dog sitter did not work out due to other dogs being a little aggressive. Carol and her family took a risk having a new dog that has not been introduced to their dog and I am so grateful of that. When I came back to pick up Remy they had nothing but compliments of how well behaved my dog was as I knew my dog is very well behaved and gets along with everybody. I highly recommend Carol and her family for anybody looking for a dog sitter.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
