“A friend of mine told me about rover.com when I was in a pinch looking for someone reliable that I would trust to care for my bulldog when family members had prior obligations. I must say that I was extremely apprehensive about allowing a stranger care for my fur baby. However, Cheltsey's vast knowledge of dogs, especially handling larger breeds, eased my anxiety. She was quick to respond to my messages & questions/concerns. The website was easy to navigate & made the reservation and communication with my dog sitter seamless. My dog was warmly welcomed upon our arrival as Cheltsey greeted us on the front porch. She assisted me with my dog's personal items & bonded with him instantly. Although she typically separates her dogs from the dog guests, I advised that I was fine if they interacted with mine. They all did wonderfully. It was like a sleepover for my fur baby! Cheltsey sent me pictures & messages updating on my dog's stay and how he was doing. This spoke volumes to me and helped to build a strong bond with my new dog sitter! She went out of her way to make my dog feel welcomed and loved. My dog had his own personal area in the house with a couch to relax on and enjoyed scenic walks. Cheltsey is very attentive and caring with a vibrant personality. I HIGHLY recommend Cheltsey and will most definitely be making future reservations with her.”

While she had never boarded a great dane, she intuitively knew immediately how to put him at ease... and because if that...us, too ! “Sharon and her dog Rodeo were so welcoming and good with our pups. Our dogs are a lot of work - they're young and have a LOT of energy! Sharon kept us informed with how they were settling in and updated us with pictures and videos along the way, which we loved! Her house is the perfect size for her to keep an eye on the dogs she's watching and she has a great backyard space for them to run around and get their energy out. She was also very accommodating when our plans were a little up in the air for pickup time and we ended up getting back to town later than expected. We would not hesitate to leave our dogs with her again and recommend her to others.”

They have cared multiple times for my fur child - It's been difficult to find someone I trust with a high energy shepherd, but they have been really lovely and attentive and know what they're doing, and Xena gets along great with their sweet Golden retriever Balu who is a great host. Xena always comes home tired and gets really excited for her sleepovers.”

Mandi was receptive to our requests for Chase and gave updates and pictures of Chase throughout his stay. “This was our first time using Miriam to board our fur baby Pepper for the weekend. We were a little nervous since we had a regular sitter for years until we moved a couple months ago. She helped us have peace of mind by showing us where our dog would be staying as well as asking us questions that would help her to care for Pepper. Miriam was very transparent and also introduced us to her doggie 🐶. Everything went smoothly and she kept us updated throughout the weekend. We were also pleasantly surprised that our dog was not as nervous as we thought she would be and was able to adapt quickly. Definitely recommend Miriam and will be using her services again.”
