I worked at a veterinary hospital for two years, providing boarding care to our clients. I am a teacher who has summers off. I am always available on the weekends and after 4 during the week. Whether I am in your house or mine, I follow the lead of the pet and make sure they’re comfortable.

Reasonable rates. I am currently retired. I have the time and desire to care for your pet. I will be home the majority of the time. I am also available holidays and weekends. I can care for two dogs in my home if with the same family. I have a nice apartment on the ground floor. There is a designated dog area. I will also walk your dog as needed. If I care for your dog in your home, I will be ready to follow his/her routine. Safety is my priority. I will not engage in activities that would put your dog at risk. I always treat them like family.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 15 years. I’ve walked multiple dogs at once and have cared for up to 4 at a time. I understand each dog has different needs and will give them their individual care. I can follow specific dietary and walking needs. I have experience with anxious, aggressive and even very stubborn animals. I have walked every size animal and am able to walk the lazy and the strong. Safety is my number one priority and I always make sure they are secured before leaving the house. I enjoy boarding dogs the most because I get to spend more time bonding, playing, and walking with them. When your dog stays at my house they are treated like family. Boarding times are 24 hours. Additional fees may apply for longer stays. My world revolves around my dog. We wake up and go for a walk, then it is breakfast and play time. I will do some work at home during the day while doggy sleeps and plays. Anytime they want to go out they can and it is supervised. We end the day with another walk. I have an unfenced yard with access to some wooded areas. Dogs are always supervised outside since we have a pool and they can get creative. Inside, all doors are shut and anything chewable is put away. We want your pet to feel comfortable so all animals are allowed on furniture. I am currently working remotely at home. During the week one of us will be home during the day. We always kennel dogs when we leave the house and do not stay away for more than 4 hours. If dogs are responsible they can be left to roam the house :) Pets are cared for per clients request. When at my house safety is the priority. We always leave the house with leashes and keep the counters clear.
