About: A house is not a home without pets! I’ve had dogs and cats since I can remember and consider every pet a part of the family. I’ve extensively cared for kittens and puppies, senior pets, and even disabled pets with special needs. I aim to care for your pet as if “mom and dad” never even left and strive for your pet to be at complete ease in my care. I work for myself, so I’m able to essentially customize my schedule weekly based off clients’ needs as well as accommodate any last minute changes fairly easily. I am willing and able to accommodate to whatever your pets’ individual needs may be. Whether that be harnessing, muzzling, running, walking, extra snuggles, or perhaps even a couple meet and greets to gain their trust, I’m ready to meet your pet exactly where and how they need.

About: I handled mostly cats growing up. I work best with Huskies as that is one of my favorite breeds, but all dogs are welcome! I ensure all pets are very happy as much as possible. As of now I'm gonna be a First Responder, so I can take walks around 40 minutes ahead of time. I'm always happy to help! I always ensure pets of all kind are treated with the upmost respect. I handle somewhat hostile cats with strict guidelines and they have always listened when given enough time. I always ensure I leave my house with my pets being happy.

About: Hi! I’m Kari, a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals, I’ve always felt a natural connection to them. I currently have three dogs of my own— a 9-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier, a 5-year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier, and a 4-year-old male German Shepherd/Boxer mix. While I’m relatively new to professional pet sitting, I have years of experience caring for my own pets and have also helped friends and family with dog and/ or cat sitting, walking, and playtime. I’m a recent graduate of Central Michigan University and now teach 8th and 9th grade English at Manistee Area Public Schools. I’m committed to both my career and to providing the best care for pets. Through my experience with my own dogs, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to manage different personalities and behavioral needs. For instance, my youngest dog developed anxiety and reactivity at around 1.5 years old, which has required daily medication and thoughtful management of his interactions with my other dogs. While it’s been challenging, it has helped me learn how to create a safe and structured environment for animals with unique needs. In addition to my dogs, I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, including four hens and a rooster, which has further expanded my knowledge of animal care. About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule.
