“Taylor was wonderful to work with and we look forward to her sitting our crazy pups again soon! The dogs were calm and happy when we got home. One is a puppy yet and the other a rescued breeder momma that suffers from separation anxiety issues. Having Taylor stop in to let them out helped them be calmer with being home alone. Will definitely book Taylor again!”

Professional Grooming & Boarding Background: With professional hands-on experience working in grooming salons and boarding facilities, you can have peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I excel at reading subtle body language, handling all breeds and sizes safely, and monitoring your dog's physical and emotional health. I have a college-level education in anatomy, physiology, and medication administration. Senior & Special Needs Care: Experienced in handling low mobility pets, arthritis management, complex medical schedules, and the predictable routines that aging pets require. Puppy & Young Pet Support: I provide the patient and consistent care needed to keep your housebreaking, crate training, and basic leash manners right on track. Whether boarding or on a walk, your pet receives premium, attentive care backed by real world emergency response and professional industry experience. Since providing pet related services is my full-time profession, my schedule is built around the dedicated care of my clients and their pets. I keep a detailed calendar, but I also understand that flexibility is a necessity. My clients' needs can shift rapidly, and my routine is designed to adapt to those situations efficiently. Strict Timing for Core Needs: Specific feeding times, medication windows, and walking routines are prioritized to happen on time. No Excessive Absences: I am fully focused on providing quality care for your pets. Since I do not have to report to a normal 9-5 job, I am able to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. When you book with me, you don't just get someone willing to do the job; you get a professional who is passionate about providing top-tier services. In My Home (Boarding) Location & Yard: Near downtown Ludington and Cartier Park. My home is located on a standard-sized city lot with a secure 4 foot fence. Controlled Environment: My home is a cozy and quiet, adult only bungalow (only myself and one other adult female live in the home). Health & Safety: All guest dogs must be fully vaccinated and current on flea/tick prevention. Advanced Yard Sanitation: Outdoor areas are sanitized using the professional-grade Wysiwash system to eliminate pathogens like Parvo, Giardia, and hookworm. Built-In Companion: I have one friendly, 50lb neutered male dog living in the home. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on the furniture, but only if allowed by your specific house rules. In Your Home (Walking & Sitting) Safety & Security: I actively scan for any hazards while ensuring all entryways, doors, and gates are locked. Focused Walks: I provide structured, fully engaged walks to prevent negative encounters. I always wear a high-visibility safety vest, carry a specialized pet first aid kit, and ensure all waste is correctly cleaned up and disposed of. Health Inspections: Leveraging my grooming background, I regularly check paws, coat, and body language to catch any early signs of stress or discomfort. Property Respect: Your home is treated with respect and left exactly as you left it (or better). In any setting, you receive clear communication and the peace of mind that comes with a fully insured, emergency-trained professional.
“Sidnie took care of my elderly disabled Silky Terrier who wears a diaper and needs to be changed. She changed her diaper, fed her, and spent time with her. I felt very relieved to have such a responsible young lady caring for our precious girl. I would hire Sidnie again and highly recommend her!”

“Sheila, Watched our dogs with a drop in visit she did a great job as they are older and require medication and frequent trips outside. She sent updates and pictures that were greatly appreciated and kept us informed of their well being while we were away. We will ask for Sheila again and recommend her to others.”
About: I have taken care of many different dogs most of my life from family dogs to friends etc! I got my first dog around when I was seven and right now I have two cats who I’ve owned for 7 years and 4 years! So I am very experienced with both cats and dogs and a lot of other animals! I am currently working at Instacart as a shopper so will be able to fit your pets needs into my schedule whenever needed! I get to make my own schedule through them as well so it’s perfect! I have a high knowledge on both cats and dogs. I clean the litter at my house for my two cats and have pet sit my friends and family’s dogs and cleaned up and walked and fed them as well!
About: I love dogs! I speak dog, as long as the tail is wagging, all is good in the world! I had a black mouth curr for almost a decade before my previous relationship ended and it was absolutely the best decision for him to keep my Charlie dog. He worked from home, so Charlie was already very close to him and I didn’t wanna break them apart when I moved back to Michigan. But I can’t have a dog now because of where I live so I am very excited to help anybody I can with their dogs. I will be a much happier person having taken on this Rover account! I work full-time and have four other gigs on the side. Rover is included in that. A lot of my work is to be done on my free time Rover included lol. I personally cannot have a dog because of where I live so I am more than excited to watch your precious baby for you! I love walking and hiking and I’ll throw a ball a few times! If your dog is on a food schedule you can trust that I will honor that. No snacks just for being a good boy? I will honor that lol. You leave me a list and itinerary of how to care for your fur baby and I will honor that. I am very cautious of how I take care of another person’s pet. I am very strict when I would leave my pets with someone. I actually printed out a care sheet and would hang it on the fridge. I will come prepared with a note pen and paper to write down any instructions that you have so I do not forget. That goes for taking care of your pet and your home, I am a very respectable person and like to have a good reputation I promise that I will do everything in my power to Abide by your instructions and to give great care to your pet as well as your home. I would expect anybody to do the same for me and if they wouldn’t, I’d be greatly disappointed, and I do not want to disappoint you!

Eden was very responsive from the start. We were able to set up a meet and greet first to make sure both my mom's and I dogs would be okay with a new person coming for a few days. Once we confirmed our booking we got updates everytime he came over along with photos which helped me so much! Will definitely hire him again for any out of state needs that we need drop ins for!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
