About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up taking care of my own cats and dog. I miss being a pet owner, and am excited to incorporate animal caretaking into my weekly routine! I am attentive, patient, and will ensure your pets get the highest quality care. I am in a break prior to starting medical school this coming fall, so have plenty of time during the days to check in and take care of your pets! I ensure that animal safety is a priority. I make sure that toxic substances or other hazards are out of the pets way so no injury occurs. I will be respectful of your space and only enter areas of your home necessary for pet care.

About: A house is not a home without pets! I’ve had dogs and cats since I can remember and consider every pet a part of the family. I’ve extensively cared for kittens and puppies, senior pets, and even disabled pets with special needs. I aim to care for your pet as if “mom and dad” never even left and strive for your pet to be at complete ease in my care. I work for myself, so I’m able to essentially customize my schedule weekly based off clients’ needs as well as accommodate any last minute changes fairly easily. I am willing and able to accommodate to whatever your pets’ individual needs may be. Whether that be harnessing, muzzling, running, walking, extra snuggles, or perhaps even a couple meet and greets to gain their trust, I’m ready to meet your pet exactly where and how they need.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats most of my life. When called away, friends and family members have relied on me to provide reliable and loving care for their beloved four-legged family members. I will always make caring for your pet a privledge, a priority and a joy. I am retired, and my schedule is flexible. I am delighted to offer my experience and energy to families in need of reliable pet-care in the Manistee area. I stay attentive while caring for your furry friend. It is important that each pet feels safe and cared for, especially when their daily routines are being interrupted in a new setting. Lots of reassurance, plenty of belly rubs, and ample daily exercise will ensure that your pet stays happy and healthy in my care.

About: I have grown up having pets my whole life, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, rats, lizards, you name it. I spent a lot of time in high school watching the four legged loves one of family and friends alike. Having grown up with pets and now pets belonging to myself, I have much experience walking, grooming, bathing, administering medications; such as eye drops, ear drops, oral medicine, etc. of many pets. I was the kid that always tried to help abandon or hurt critters (I still am that kid!). If you are looking for a trustworthy person to care for your loved one, look no further. I’m currently at M-F 8 a.m - 6 p.m Possible availability S 10a.m - 2 p.m Will consider Fourth of July weekend availability could open up In client home, I intend on caring for your pet in the way that you wish. I am comfortable taking pets to the dog park if the owner wishes for that.

About: I have two dogs named Fin and Petey. Fin is a medium sized Irish Setter and Petey is a small Rat Terrier and Pomeranian mix! Being a small to big dog ratio, they get along pretty well! I take Fin on walks on the beach frequently as he is very well behaved and trained by me! Petey is more of a home body, but loves to go on walks and runs down the road. I have had many animals throughout my childhood: multiple dogs, many birds, ducks, guinea hens, and chickens! I am experienced to care for your animals they way I have and do with mine! I work as a CNA currently so my weekly schedule is inconsistent during the week, but I am able to provide care throughout the week and weekend as needed and avaliable! I have a huge backyard for my dogs to run around and always take them on walks, so even dog sitting for a little bit of time is just as good! With this being said, brining them home, along with coming to your home, or going to public areas, works well with me!

She took great care of our dogs and cats while we were out of town-including taking them on walks, hanging out at the house, and even took the dogs to Red Rock for a hike on a nice day. Our shyest cat who will always hide when people come over was comfortable enough to come out to visit with her, so that says everything in how pets feel about her! She was great at communicating during her visits and keeping us updated on our pets. We will definitely be using Gail when she’s available in the future.”

About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for feeding, medications, routines, or training. I believe communication is very important, so I’m glad to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
