“Fantastic dog sitter! Knowledgeable and very responsive. Handles my VERY excitable dogs easily. Asked questions I hadn't even thought of, which goes to show her professionalism. Will definitely rebook her in the future.”

“Randi was wonderful! Our dogs loved her immediately and gave her kisses at their first meeting. She was very prompt and reliable for the drop in’s and sent updates. Will definitely continue to use her!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and absolutely love them. Throughout my entire life I have cared for dogs. From puppies to seniors I have taken care of dogs every step of the way. I have much experience with medication, dog walking, feeding, playtime, and all around loving pups. I grew up with dogs and cats and was raised in a household that adores them. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy every step of caring for pets. I have recently moved out of my parents home into an apartment where I no longer have any animals. I have 2 family pets that I constantly visit but that is still not enough dog time for me. To sum up my personality and love for animals, if I am at an outing and there’s a dog there I will definitely be playing with the pups while socializing. I currently am enrolled in esthetician school so I am in school from 9 am to 4:30 pm. I work some weekends but I am available on weekdays before 9 am and again at 5 pm. I am a very active person so I have loved walking all dogs in the past and continue to walk my family pets. I am a very warm and playful person, I have a lot of energy to play around with lively dogs. I have also raised skittish, special needs, and senior dogs that need a little extra calm love. I am a very respectful person and if needed I will care for your dog in your home with no stress to you

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every age size and breed since I was 20. I grew up around dogs and throughly enjoy and care for each and everyone of them like they are my own family! As they are yours and deserve to be treated with as much respect and care when you’re outside the home! I do have my own pup who is very friendly and loves to play we come as a pair who will love to play with your animals! I work full time and do pet sitting/ walking part time! I’m willing to do drop in visits or staying in home to help the dog/cat acclimate to you being gone! Staying in home I will play with the animal dog or cat and take them outside for potty breaks (dog) sand will clean the litter box daily (cat). I understand each animal has their on personality so I would prefer to meet the animal prior to sitting so that we may get used to each other! I’ve watched and cared for many pets in the manhattan junction city area for years and would love to give your pet the love and care needed when you’re away!

“Responsive and great with cats”

About: I have taken care of dogs and house sat for friends and family for over 20 years. I am new to the area and I look forward to meeting new doggo friends! I’d love to arrange a meet and greet with you and your pups to discuss your needs more in-depth! I’ve just gotten done thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and my availability is very open! I have a schedule of flexibility that would allow me to focus on a more rigorous feeding/potty schedule. I like to talk softly to dogs to develop a level of friendship and trust. I’m happy to accompany and play with dogs in a fenced in backyard or dog park. Sitting on a couch (if allowed) is nice too! I’d follow your regular feeding and potty schedules to maintain consistency as well.

About: I got my first dog when I was 6 years old. He lived until he was 15 years old. He had a hard time in the end and I had to learn how to care for a senior dog who was partially blind and deaf. I also gained valuable experience working on a farm with 6 dogs who consistently followed me around. I have a heart for dogs of all age, especially senior dogs! I am currently not working as I have healthcare licenses being processed to Kansas. I am a student who is fully online so I have more than enough free time and flexibility. Right now I am taking care of my cat and kitten! I am all about cleanliness. I believe that having a clean pet environment can make the biggest difference for not only the owner, but the pet! I will work hard to keep your pet happy, healthy, and clean! I also believe that no pet ever gets enough playtime. My kitten is a ball of energy so I am a pro at playtime. My cats sleep through the night every night because they play practically all day!

“Kaley is da bomb! You can tell she loves working with animals and provides great updates on how each visit went. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I grew up with cats & my husband grew up with dogs! We have also loved raising & training our Goldendoodle puppy this past year. We are very attentive to our dog’s needs, so we will do the same for your pet & communicate frequently. We work Mondays-Thursdays from 9a-5p, but our workplace is just a few minutes away & we are flexible to come home for lunch & potty breaks as needed! We can give your pet plenty of attention most weeknights. We’re pretty much home all day on Fridays & Saturdays. Sundays we work from 7a-2p, so that’s the longest period of time we are unable to be available for your pet. We live in an apartment, but we can go on frequent walks & run around outside. We love going to the dog park & adventuring on trails nearby. Our goldendoodle loves every animal & person he meets. He loves to cuddle & sleep half the day, but he also loves to run & play! He can keep your furry friend company, but we can also separate as needed! We like to keep our pup comfortable & cared for, so we would be to do the same for yours.

“This is the second time that I have used Amber and couldn’t recommend her more! Wonderful at communicating and always sends pictures of my critters. I am able to relax knowing she is looking after my animals. Thanks Amber!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs, my entire life! As a kid, we always had a family dog, and my parents often Fostered. This allowed me to become comfortable with a large range of dogs, regardless of age, energy levels, or size. When I was 12 I adopted a dog of my own, Gypsy, who is now 10. I crate trained and agility trained her, learning much about pet care along the way. Adopting her has allowed me to gain experience caring for dogs from a puppy to a senior. With these experiences, I’m confident in my ability to care for your dog, regardless of his or her needs. I’m a student so I’m available to spend time with your pets outside of classes! This typically involves times before noon and after 5, but I can be pretty flexible! I have a home with a generous yard and no roommates! My yard is not fenced in but I also live near a park where we can play!

“My dog absolutely loves Emma. I had no worries at all while leaving him in her care. It seems like he had the best time with her while we were away and she sent us so many great pictures of him! We will be hiring her again for any other vacation we go on. It is so nice to have someone we trust in the neighborhood!”

“Ashley was fantastic with our boy! Would recommend her to anyone :)”

About: Hey y’all! I am a pre-vet student with years of experience working in vet clinics and currently working as a veterinary assistant. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, birds, deer, ducks, etc.! I adore animals of all kinds and know how to make them feel safe and at home. Additionally, I have a special knack for administering medications! I am currently attending university classes, but have a lot of time before/after classes to cuddle, play with, and care for your animals. I also have weekend availability! I am comfortable caring for your pets in your home and have experience doing so. Unfortunately, I cannot offer sitting services in my home at this time.

About: I grew up with pets, and have pet sat/house sat for friends and neighbors over the years! I have the most experience with cats and dogs, however I have also cared for other pets like hedgehogs, chickens and snakes! I recently moved to the area and I'm currently taking a sabbatical from my full time job. I have lots of availability! I am available for overnight house sits, drop ins and mid day potty/play breaks. I care for pets as if they were my own! I always send pictures to update you throughout my time with your pets. You can trust that they will receive plenty of playtime, affection and cuddles while you are away! Comfortable and familiar with dietary needs, medical needs such as medication administration, or special training you prefer to use.

About: I have always had pets growing up, so I learned at a young age how to care for dogs, cats, fish, and Guinea pigs. I have my own pet currently! I have a cat and her name is Willow. I take care of my cat every day, I check her food and water bowls twice a day and make time to play with her to give her a workout. I do have a cat, so if I end up taking car of your dog for the day I will most likely avoid bringing them to my home unless you tell me that they get along well with cats. I can take them for walks and to the park or for rides if they enjoy that too!

About: Hey! Over the past 5 years, I've accumulated over 1000 hours of animal care and veterinary experience. This is a combination of volunteering at a local animal shelter, working at a vet clinic, and working at a doggy daycare. Because of this, I'm incredibly comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes, and I have experience administering various medications to animals as needed. Additionally, I am super knowledgeable on caring for XL dog breeds, seeing as I have a Great Dane who weighs more than I do, and in the past Ive lived with Mastiffs, Bloodhounds, Pitbulls, and more. I am a full time student at KSU but my general weekly availability looks something like this. Tuesday: 8:30-11am, after 5pm. Thursdays: 8:30-10:30am, and after 5pm. Friday’s: After 10:30am. Saturdays: After 11am. Sundays: all day. However, I am confident that I can still make room to love your pet around my schedule, and my availability calendar is updated daily so you can see if I can help when you need it! I am very experienced in reading animals' body language, so I can tell what they need from me to be the most comfortable and keep me and them safe. Additionally, I have experience walking and caring for dogs from 3 pounds to 150 pounds, and I know how to adapt to their needs.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for about 5 years now. I am always my friends and family’s go to person when they need someone to watch their dogs. I am a college student with a few extracurricular activities going on but my schedule is very open and flexible. Mornings, afternoons and evenings are all available. I treat everybody’s pets like they are my own when asked to watch them. My dog is my baby and I know just how much other people love and care for their own animals and I try to provide the same.

As a student athlete most of my availability is after 4 P.M. Monday-Friday, and normally all day on the weekends! I am pretty flexible with scheduling, so we can work out a time! Your buddy and I will either be walking around the streets of Lawrence, or chilling in your home being spoiled all day long, either way it will be a great time!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Krista G.
“I’ve known Krista G. for several years, and I can honestly say she’s one of the most caring and dependable people I’ve ever met—especially when it comes to animals. Krista has a calm, kind presence that pets naturally gravitate toward, and her attention to detail and genuine love for what she does make her stand out. She’s incredibly reliable, communicates clearly, and always goes above and beyond to make sure both pets and their owners feel completely at ease. I’ve seen firsthand how much trust people place in her, and it’s well-deserved. Anyone would be lucky to have Krista caring for their pets. She’s truly one of a kind.”
