“Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.”

About: I’ve been a loving and devoted dog owner since I was ten. I’ve raised both small and large breed dogs from puppyhood. In addition, I’ve been a foster mom to many dogs of various ages and breeds through Great Dog Rescue. I enjoy getting outdoors, rain or shine, walking and playing with these wonderful animals. My dogs get are doted on with lots of cuddles and attention. I currently have a very friendly Bernese Mountain dog who gets along well with other dogs. I am available full-time to care for your fur baby. I could offer daily exercise and plenty of individual attention to your pup at my home or yours. I have a house with a big yard on a quiet cul-de-sac. Either in your home or mine, I would take your dog out on a leash to make sure it stays safe. Having hosted many rescue dogs, I know how to care for nervous animals and they have thrived under my care.

About: I treat every animal exactly as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, my background is deeply rooted in animal welfare. Growing up in Maryland, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, interned with an equine veterinary clinic, and served as a volunteer and instructor in equine therapy. About: I love being surrounded by animals and have been around pets my entire life. For a long time now, I’ve been rescuing lost dogs and helping them find safe, loving homes. Currently, I have three dogs and a cat at my country house, as well as a 10-year-old senior dog at home. One of my dogs in the countryside is partially blind, and I'm the one who takes care of his special needs. This has given me great hands-on experience with senior and special-needs pet care. Spanish is my native language, and my home is fully bilingual! My kids are completely fluent in English and are always here to help with communication for all booking details and updates. My daily life revolves around taking care of my dog, maintaining our home, and waiting for my husband and children to return from work and school. Your pet will enjoy a welcoming home with lots of fun toys and loving care and attention. I work fully remote with a flexible schedule that allows me to work around your pets schedule. I provide multiple long walks per day, and can bring your dog to a number of dog parks in my area if you would prefer they socialize. Attentive to all medical and miscellaneous needs. I enjoy being around dogs, giving them all the scratches and belly rubs they desire. I live in a very safe, secluded, suburban neighborhood with lots of other dogs around.

I grew up with both cats and dogs, and family and friends have always relied on me to watch, walk, and care for their pets over the years. If it were up to me, I’d probably have five cats and five dogs but my husband says otherwise, so pet sitting is the perfect compromise. 😂 I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs and routines however I can, and I’ll always keep you updated with plenty of pictures and check-ins so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. If your dog is more comfortable in a cat free environment, I’m also happy to have my cat stay with nearby family during their visit. I’d love the chance to meet you and your furry family member! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I homeschool, which allows me to be flexible with my time. I love going on walks and spending time outdoors together as a family, so your pet would fit right into the fun and daily adventures. Your pet would get lots of attention, companionship, playtime, and care throughout the day not just quick check-ins. Because of my flexible schedule I can give your pet attention and care throughout the day. I will make sure your pet has all of their needs met, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and lots of love. We’re also happy to go the extra mile when needed, whether that means extra walks, keeping up with your pet’s usual routine, administering basic medications, or giving them extra comfort and attention if they’re feeling anxious while away from home. We do live in an apartment, but we make sure pets get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. There are lots of great walking areas nearby, as well as a dog park close to us where your dog can safely run around and burn off energy, and won't feel stuck inside all day.
