About: I started off at a large animal vet hospital as a teen and since then I have taken care of coworkers' and friends dogs, even my chiropractor. I recently retired from the Department of Education and have plenty of time on my hands. Would love to do more with animals now that my time has freed up. I only offer in home care as I am not allowed to have pets at my own place. Preferably, I would like to remain outside of the home when coming to pick up your baby but it is not necessary.

About: I’ve had two amazing dogs and cats in my lifetime, volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 13, and researched canine cognition at Duke University! I was also prevet in college, worked with many dogs and pups, and have experience training service puppies. I have most weekends off with occasional weekdays off from my full time job. About: As a teacher and mother, I’m a natural caregiver and there’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs. I have a gift for understanding them and providing the right kind of love and affection. I’ve worked at a vet, helped dog rescues in Korea, and have been a dog sitter since childhood. Our dog Prim lives a splendid life in our new fenced backyard. We brought her to Maui from Korea and have showered her with love. Along the way we’ve watched many buddies for her, always making these dogs feel like part of the family. Let me put your mind at ease, give your dog a safe and loving second home, and provide you with some cute photos too! I am a teacher so I’m usually home by 3 pm and have a lot of holidays off. My husband works four days a week. We’re always home on the weekends and have a great setup when we’re not here so that pets can enjoy both the house and the backyard. My yard is fully fenced in and live on a quiet cul-de-sac. We are very aware of potential dangers and try to always have a plan in case it’s needed. We’re informed on all feeding precautions and exercise care during play and meal time. Both our kids, even our toddler, are careful and kind with all animals. I passed my dog whisperer genes on to them!

About: We’re Evin and Hannah and we love dogs! We have a wide variety of experience with animals. Hannah grew up with horses and dogs, worked at dog “hotels” in college, and is passionate about animal welfare and behavior. Her dog passed in 2022. Evin loves to baby all pets and misses his late dog of 15 years who passed last year. We’ve been through it all, from puppy days to major surgeries, high separation anxiety, and palliative care. We really miss having a creature around, but are not ready to have our own again. In the meantime we pet-sit and foster. We’re on our 5th foster dog, are familiar with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have even petsat a rabbit! The shelter we foster for calls us their "good vibe/good luck fosters" because so far we have helped the stressed dogs decompress, learn some manners, and get adopted faster. We would love to care for your fur baby as if they are our own, and treat them with the same love and affection while you’re away. We'll be in Maui full time again in September. Certain breeds are a no go for house sitting/overnights. We can discuss that and do a meet and greet and she can usually tell right away. We both currently work from home, so your pet will have attention full time! Hannah has more availability these days so she may do house sits or daytime walks solo. All dogs in our care get multiple daily walks and feeding based on their preferred schedule, usually 2x/daily, sometimes with medication. We only watch one dog/pet at a time. We are happy to follow the rules that are already in place for your pet. We can crate your dog if needed, or spoil them with snuggles and kisses, or both! Our one preference is we don't typically like to have dogs in the bed with us overnight.
