“I’d recommend Johnathan! He’s like a dog whisperer. Mika always has issues with new sitters and I was a bit worried at first she kept barking non stop as usual but after a while she settled in but still barked several times. Lacey was no problem she’s always mellow and friendly. Mika in the other hand is very defensive but Johnathan took them in with short time spent with Johnathan Mika barely barked going home after the meet and greet. Then back at it when I dropped them off-when I picked them up Mika made a good connection with Johnathan and she didn’t even bark in my car just crying a bit but no barking she didn’t even want to get out of my car to go inside our home! Amazing improvement!! I’d go to Johnathan for my dogs anytime and highly recommend him as well got updated a few times in the day to keep me updated on how they’re doing. About: Aloha :) My dogs and I would love to have your dog stay at our house in Olinda! We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 4 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 2 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day. I’m never gone for more than a 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also make sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.

About: From puppies to seniors, we've cared for and loved them all. Jack Russels, Chihuahuas and all the mixes. We at one time had 3 little ones in our lives cause we couldn't watch the one sweet chihuahua that belonged to our friend go back to the pound when he didn't quite fit in well with their kids. We took him home to find him a home and we sure did! 13 years of his little life wasn't enough time. Love fostering with Maui Humane when we can, hard to say goodbye but worth it to make their life just a little better for a bit. I work part time from home so I'm usually around to play or snuggle with your pup. We are mostly home bodies so even on the weekend your pup won't be lonely. We have a friendly (for a chihuahua lol) 4 year old Chihuahua that is always looking for playmates! We have an outside space where they can run that energy off too and live close to the beach! So if the paw parents approve we're happy to enjoy nightly sunsets or early morning beach walks while it's not too hot. During the day they can lounge or play in the house or choose to lay in the sun on our fenced front lanai. Special diets don't intimidate me. Ours is a picky eater so I understand the need to mix up the meals every once in a while.

About: I’ve been a dog lover since my first puppy, Zeus. I had him and grew up with him for ten years of my life and now I am blessed with another puppy, Koda. I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs and show the most attentive care for them. Especially because my Koda has seizures, I’m always home and around. And our loving little town has an amazing dog park for outdoor time. Everyday, koda and I begin our morning with a walk then breakfast. I am always home so he’s glued to my side during the day. My routine is currently centered around daily movement, nutrition, and time in nature as I have become very passionate about being healthy and avoiding burnout. I enjoy the variety of spending time with different animals and supporting pet owners as a part of my weekly/monthly routine and feel it’s a healthy, joyful way for me to connect with my community. I am very sensitive and intuitive so I'm good at helping pets feel comfortable and safe in my presence. About: I grew up on a farm raising cattle, chickens, rabbits, cats and dogs, I guess that is where my love for animals began. I have two dogs of my own, wish I had extra space for 2 more or an entire dog sanctuary. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, I was previously EMT certified, and I have taken classes on CPR and first aid for animals; so you can find comfort in knowing that your fur babies will be happy and safe with me! “I’d recommend Johnathan! He’s like a dog whisperer. Mika always has issues with new sitters and I was a bit worried at first she kept barking non stop as usual but after a while she settled in but still barked several times. Lacey was no problem she’s always mellow and friendly. Mika in the other hand is very defensive but Johnathan took them in with short time spent with Johnathan Mika barely barked going home after the meet and greet. Then back at it when I dropped them off-when I picked them up Mika made a good connection with Johnathan and she didn’t even bark in my car just crying a bit but no barking she didn’t even want to get out of my car to go inside our home! Amazing improvement!! I’d go to Johnathan for my dogs anytime and highly recommend him as well got updated a few times in the day to keep me updated on how they’re doing. About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. Experience fostering both cats, kittens and puppies is also something I can offer. It’s so rewarding to watch the dogs learn and grow with training and time. I can take your dog on walks and play with them or just chill with your cat. I currently work 3 days a week on a boat and 1 day as a bartender. Feel free to message me for scheduling and availability. If your pet is ok with me being gone on the boat 12 hrs on a couple days I’m happy to housesit for a length of time. My partner can often times let your pet out to potty on my long work days. Usually just Wednesdays are 12 hr shifts. I like to keep the pets routines as close to what they are use to as possible. Playing with, exercising, feeding and even doing some training are all things I like to incorporate in my daily schedule.
