About: I’ve known I would work with animals my whole life. I started dog sitting as a young teen and have continued to care for pets throughout my life. I’ve also spent over six years working in grooming shops, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My animal experience goes far beyond dogs — I’ve spent time around cats, horses, small barn animals, reptiles, fish, and more. I personally own a high-energy husky, and in the past, I’ve owned fish, a leopard gecko, and even ducks — so I’m comfortable with a wide range of care routines and species! I also have specific experience working with fearful and reactive dogs. I understand the patience and awareness it takes to help them feel safe and supported. I always move at the animal’s pace, using calm energy and positive reinforcement to build trust. While house sitting, I’m happy to attempt basic grooming tasks like nail trims or possibly haircuts, depending on the pet’s comfort level. My grooming background gives me the skills to approach these tasks gently and safely. I offer drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays in your home (I’m not able to host pets at mine). While I do work during the day, I make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care when I’m there. If you’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals — I’d love to connect and meet your crew! I currently work as a groomer’s assistant in the mornings and typically finish by 5 p.m., which gives me early mornings and plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to care for your pets I am unable to care for your pet at my home, but am happy to come to yours! As noted before, I have lots of experience caring for both cats and dogs, and know how to keep them safe. If you do not have a fenced in yard, I will be sure to let your dog out on a leash.

My daughter was able to hand her the leash to walk him a bit with us in the park. I was hesitant to leave him, but she was very reassuring, before we ever left. This was our first time using Rover, so the opportunity of meet and greet and preparation details were well planned. Amina went out of her way to send photos and videos, some of which were quite entertaining! We had extra instructions for giving our dog medications and she did a fantastic job doing that in addition to keeping our Siamese Cat fed and loved. Our German Shepherd loves to play soccer in the backyard and when I arrived home there was a new doggie toy with tug of war ropes and a soccer ball in the middle”

About: I have had pets my whole life up! I'm a full time stay at home mom with 3 kiddos (2 in school and 1 not in school cause shes a baby!) I am looking to earn a little pocket change while hopefully helping someone out with their fur babies. I have moved to Kansas city temporarily and am giving veterinary clinic work a break for a bit so I have open availability during the week! Between volunteering at shelters and working at the vet I have been well trained in pet safety and precautions to take to ensure that no pet gets loose or harmed. While walking your fur baby they will always be on a double leash with me to ensure their safety in any event and precautions will be taken during any interaction with other dogs (if that is something you would like to allow).
