“Lindsey and her family were great. She was very attentive to our dogs needs. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and would love to do it again during future vacations. This is the first time using any boarding service and feel lucky to have found her. Thank you Lindsey”

“Tara’s home was a large environment with plenty of backyard conducive to dog boarding. Her children took to our pups lovingly and playfully. We left them feeling comfortable about their care. Our return flight from San Diego was delayed 2+ hrs due to Extreme Heat; this made it literally impossible to make our connection home & meant an extra day before finally got home. Tara adjusted to that no problem, adding another night’s charges while we waited for them to get home from their son’s ballgame. We recvd one photo from Tara while gone and a couple brief “they are doing fine” without details we would like to have heard more. We gave her a full additional day’s charges in cash as a tip when we picked our pups up. We can recommend her to others and would utilize her again as needed.”

“Kristen is absolutely wonderful, the care and love she showed our girls was very appreciated. They were so happy at her home, we know because she sent us photos everyday. We’ll definitely be using her again in the future.”
“Anne did a wonderful job taking care of my little dog. She was extremely responsive and kept me up to date on how things were going throughout the stay. I would highly recommend her.”

“So many pictures were provided to us while we were on vacation, and that alone put us at ease! I didn't want my doggo in a kennel at a facility, so I turned to Jennifer, and she didn't disappoint! Onyx looked so incredibly happy and enjoyed spending time with the other doggos. My fiance and I 100% recommend Jennifer and her services for anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“We were so pleased by the care received from Mariana and Mark. They treated our girls like their own. Huge relief when you can find a sitter that’s reliable when traveling.”

“Couldn’t be happier with Bre’s first-time care for our pooch, Pepper! She was responsive with frequent reports and cute pics and conscientious with routines, flexible and easy to communicate with. A “match made in heaven” and we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Bre❣️”

“It can be stressful boarding your beloved pet, but Emily helped lessen that burden! Sheamus loved his weekend at her home and the opportunity to meet new dog friends! In every photo Emily sent us, he was smiling from ear to ear, so we knew he was having a spectacular time!”

“Heather took excellent care of my Millie while we were away. It was short notice and she jumped on it despite her holiday plans. I am so grateful and will be using her again when we have to go out of town!”

“Alexis was amazing with our elderly Boston Terrier - she sent frequent pictures and updates and made us feel reassured that our pup was in good hands! We already booked another stay with her!”

“I definitely recommend Kayla, she took care of my labrador puppy Arya for 4 nights. When I brought Arya she did not walk with her leash because she did not want to and when I went to look for her Kayla had taught her. Kayla take care of her with a lot of love, teach her new things, trained Arya and help her share with other dogs and cats. I am very satisfied and happy to be able to entrust the care of my baby Arya to such a committed person. Arya was really happy and have a great time, Kayla even give her new toys!!”

About: Hi! I’m Alexis an avid dog lover. I have two pets of my own, and lots of experience with animals. I am pet first aid and CPR certified through Purdue university, I have 5+ years of dog training and behavior experience, and I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for 1 year and gained valuable animal husbandry and care skills. I’d love to hangout with your pup! I run my own pet brand where I work from home so I am able to host dogs, or come visit your pup any day of the week and anytime. I can make my schedule fit with yours! I live in a good neighborhood where we can take leashed walks, or drive to a nearby park to play. I can crate dogs or let them free roam, I have two other dogs to keep your pets company or I have the ability to keep them seperate if that’s what’s needed. For in home visits I can do anything you require!
About: I have an overflowing love for all fur babies, so caring for your pets will bring joy to my life and help you out at the same time! In college, I worked at a dog kennel and daycare and learned a lot about caring for different personalities of dog. Growing up, we had a German Shepard. I now have a 3 year old golden retreiver who i raised from a puppy and trained myself. She is very friendly and playful, gets along with every kind of dog and person. I also have 2 cats who are siblings and just great snuggles and so playful. I have a decent sized house and a half acre fenced yard, which is quiet and out of the city (though close to the small town with plenty of sidewalks for walks). I currently work from home on Wednesdays. Weekends are a but more unpredictable but when I am home is the only time I'll mark available. Mondays, tuesday, Thursdays, and fridays I work 8am-5pm. On my work days I am still happy to take overnight guests or stop for a walk or check in after work, during lunch, or before work. I have plenty of space for them to run around. I have a submissive and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate them if you desire, and there is enough room in my house to separate them from my animals if needed.
About: I have had over 30 years around pets. People trust me with their pets and love the care and attention that I give their pets. I substitute teach and also work part-time. I am mostly around late afternoons and on the weekends. As a fitness person, taking dogs when owner likes dogs to exercise is my favorite time with the pet. I keep the space open for the pets and also have toys for them to keep active and entertained. I also play with them often so they are well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mahon
They were amazing with my boys. Our flight got delayed and we weren’t able to pick up until nearly midnight, but they stayed up so we could get them as soon as we got back. Got regular pictures, updates, and know they were well taken care of. Only reason for 4 stars, not 5… not a non-smoking home as it says on the profile. My boys smelled awful when I picked them up.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
