About: We’re a husband-and-wife dynamic duo with a lifelong love for animals! Between the two of us, we’ve cared for a wide range of pets — from dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows, rabbits, and ducks to small pets like rats and hamsters. I grew up on a ranch, where my father taught me to love and care for animals of all kinds. My husband grew up surrounded by dogs and small animals, developing his own deep bond with pets. Today, we share our home with three cats and four dogs, and we’re passionate about treating every animal we care for like a member of the family. We’re a husband-and-wife team who both work full time, but we have plenty of availability in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends. We love starting and ending our days with playtime, walks, and quality care for the pets we look after. Your pets will always get lots of attention, love, and reliable care built into our daily routine. We are current with all of the safety and care procedures for cats and dogs. It is our goal to not only ensure safety and health, but to help your animal feel comfortable and loved.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I am a devoted life-long dog-owner and dog-lover. I have grown up with dogs and couldn't imagine life without them. I am a bona fide "dog person," as any of my friends will tell you. Days with dogs include arroyo walks, neighborhood walks, trips to local parks and dog parks, hiking excursions and swims in the river and mountain creeks. We love to get up in the mountains and explore and run on all the local trails. I am happy to accommodate whatever your dog needs and likes. I love my pups and I know I will love yours too. I look forward to getting to care for your precious four-legged. Thank you for the opportunity! Your pups will be in the best of hands.

About: That title quote was from a former employer, owner of a pet care company. She turned to me when all else failed. Best compliment, ever! (Traveling for clients now. Please get in touch for pricing.) I meet with first time clients to get the lay of the land. We go over everything from vet contact info, to the everyday things- food, exercise, the chasing of squirrels. :) Schedule is tailored to your munchkins needs. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to come and go when doing overnights. We can discuss. I do not do boarding. I only sit in my clients homes, where their pets are usually the happiest. Just like us! (Their own bed, blankie and bowl!)

About: Being a college student I still live at home, so pet/house sitting is a great way for me to earn money doing what I love, being around animals. Growing up in on the outskirts of Santa Fe, I spent most of my time with pets and farm animals. I have been caring for my own pet my whole life and being caring for other people's since i was 10. Classes are short and I do homework at home so I am able to provide all around care and offer frequent potty breaks. Elderly dogs have a special place in my heart after caring for a regular client whith a elderly dog on medications. Dogs, cats, snakes, you name I have probably taken care. I can't wait to meet your furry children.

About: My name is Juliette Conzuelo, I been working with animals for 10 years now. Now being around other peoples fur babies is my part time job that I enjoy soo much. I will give full care and love toward the animals you hold dear to your heart and treat them as my own giving them their space and patience to letting them to get to know me. I make sure to play and walk animals and that they are promptly fed during their accustomed feeding hours and make sure any medicine is taken when needed. I always make sure water bowls are filled. I have six babies of my own, four dogs and two cats and I am fortunate that my little babies have uplifted my spirits on bad days and in return I like to give them the joy of just being outside for a hike or go backpacking, playing or cuddles! I can do housesits from San Felipe to any where near by Jemez, Santa Ana, Bernalillo, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Albuquerque. For check ins and dog walks I prefer to be close to home from San Felipe to anything in between Rio Rancho.I do check ins at 10am - 6pm. Dog walks are also from 10am-6pm. I will not do any boarding or pet care at my own home. I have too many animals, would not want to overwhelm any animals.

About: I have experience with all animals - farm animals, aquatic animals, dogs, cats, feral animals too. I love goats and miss my farm. I can't have animals of my own at this time and just looking for a rewarding side hustle. I find healing in the presence of animals. I'm currently available seven days a weeks - flexible and reliable. I recently have been laid off from my regular employer. I am looking for an easygoing rewarding solution. Animals could provide so much more to me than an income. Especially at this time in my life. Transition is hard but Im determined. I ensure safety and routine for your pet. I will do everything I can to ensure they are well cared for and safe in your environment or mine.

“I really enjoyed meeting Rowan at your previous job at the daycare. It's wonderful to see her embark on her own journey. Bash was delighted to see her too. I truly appreciated her communication skills and the way she took care of Bash during one of his walks. I hope to collaborate with her in the future!”

About: What can I say, I love dogs!!! Iv'e been around dogs my whole life, beginning with my Husky that loved chaperoning me around our backyard when I was a baby. I'm very grateful to have the experience with a dog since youth! I was raised around other animals too, bunnies, mice, and hamsters. Lol but I bond especially well with dogs. I hope to make new memories with your pet if you choose me! I am flexible and willing to work around your dogs schedule and my own. We can work something out to meet both our needs of course. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can be available overnights if needed if you are going away on a trip.

About: I have been a pet owner since I was a child. I truly enjoy and love taking care of dogs. I have 2 dogs of my very own that I enjoy teaching new tricks to and we all love a walk around the neighborhood or visiting a nearby dog park. I am currently working 4 days a week so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m flexible and available for boarding and sitting Friday’s-Sundays. If needed I am willing to workout a plan to care for your pups during the week as well. I will treat your fur babies like family. I will also ensure specific needs for your pet are met. Such as feeding, exercise, socializing, etc.

“Rhiannon is my sister and provides daily care for my 1 year old Corgi/Cattle Dog mix, Cowboy. She's very in tune with his energy and personality, knowing when to get him out running and when to let him get lazy so he'll chill out. Rhiannon will enforce the rules of not letting Cowboy on the couch, no matter how much they both want to sit there together. (Even I break this rule sometimes, but I'm his mama so it's different.) They're best friends who love playing tug-o-war, fetch, and any other game they can come up with. My sister is very safety-minded and never lets Cowboy off the leash while hiking or walking in the neighborhood because as a pup, he's still testing his boundaries! That said, she loves taking Cowboy to the dog park by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter where they'll do 3-5 laps along the outer trail. Book her today for a great stay and play for your fur baby!”

About: I adore animals, but as a single person and a renter, it hasn’t been the right time to have my own yet. Whatever the needs of your pets are, I can provide loving care for them in your home. I have cared for cats and dogs, young and old, and am comfortable administering medications. In terms of diet and exercise, I will adhere to whatever guidelines you say are best. In addition to caring for your pets, I am happy to look after your plants and garden as well. My goal is for both you and your pets to be at ease while you are separated. I am a good communicator and will keep you updated to the level of your liking during my stay. I spend my summers working in Alaska and have a flexible schedule while in Santa Fe. I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods and would love the company of your sweet pet 😊 I am calm, attentive, and will cater activities to suit your pet’s needs. If your pup likes walks or the park— great! If couch hangs and lap snuggles are more their speed— wonderful, I’ll bring a book!

About: Hey there! I've been surrounded by pets my whole life - dogs, cats, horses, birds, you name it. Recently, I adopted a dog named Maeve from ABQ. Since I work remotely, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, which means I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your furry friend. I absolutely adore animals and will treat your pet like it's my own. In fact, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter in Texas and walk dogs at the Williamsburg BARC shelter. My dog Maeve and I enjoy morning and evening walks to avoid the heat of the day since she has a thick black coat. She gets fed twice a day and has snacks in between. I understand that every pet is different and will always pay attention to any specific instructions you leave. It's all about reading their cues and respecting their boundaries - some dogs need more space than others. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend soon! As I work remotely I have a lot of flexibility in my day to take care of pets. I take my dog Maeve on morning and evening walks. Try to avoid the heat of the day as she has a black coat with thick hair. She gets fed twice a day and snacks throughout. I am sure to pay attention to any instructions left by the owner and follow the pet's lead. Some dogs want more space than others - it's all about reading the queues they provide.

“Bryce was friendly and calm when one of my dogs was nervous around people but she walked well with Bryce. I will schedule the walk again next time.”

Mel W.
“We have been super happy with the top notch care Mel has given to our pup. He is incredibly attentive, goes out of his way to accommodate our crazy travel schedules, and makes sure our dog has a fun time while we are away. It really is priceless to go on travel and not have to worry about my dog. Also, our pup has had severe stomach issues, so she now has a limited diet; Mel has accommodated her diet and is very careful to feed her meals on time. Lastly, not only has Mel been super responsive with us, he voluntarily reaches out with pupdates and photos that brighten our day, when we are missing our pup. If you ever need a dogsitter in the Santa Fe area, Mel is your guy. We are happy clients and appreciate how loved our dog is when in Mel’s care!”

Erika C.

“Erika is just the best! She is so good with our two black labs. They love going to her house and are always in great spirits when we pick them up. Her availability is awesome too. She has helped us out on very short notice and even allowed us to drop off our dogs very early in the morning. I’m so beyond glad we found Erika!!”
