About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

I have a seasonal job, and I love working with animals and caring for fosters when needed so I’m happy to work with your schedule ! I give my pets the best unprocessed food and I follow instructions for the feeding and understand my pets necessities. I love going for hikes and walks or playing with the pups. I would do overnight stays to keep them company and look after the house.

“Mary-Ellen took care of our blind Shih Tzu, "Peanut" for the day in her home this past weekend and was just AMAZING with her! She was so interested to find out all the little details ahead of time to ensure that they had a fun and comfortable day. Because of Peanut's special needs, my boyfriend and I are very nervous about leaving her with sitters, but after meeting Mary-Ellen, we felt sure that she would be in the best of hands. Mary-Ellen sent updates throughout the day along with several photos so I could see what fun they were having. Mary Ellen's home is adorable and sparkling clean, and as an added bonus, her daughter and Peanut really hit it off and had a wonderful time together. We would highly recommend Mary Ellen to others and will definitely book her again in the future.”

About: Born into a family with a dog, I was "groomed fur this." I've never not had cats and dogs. I spent several years with a breeder as a live-in nanny to the puppies of a Labrador and a Dachshund, and the kittens of a Persian and a Himalayan cat. I currently have two older rescue dogs, and two cats. I work from home, so my pets get lots of personal attention. I put on the soft music with the birds for my cat who demands it by sitting on the table and chirping at the TV. If I go out, they have their beds and blankets for nap time, and we go outside as soon as I return. Every couple of days, I make the dog food in the slow cooker. We take walks around the yard with one of the cats who uses the outside potty with the dogs. My pets sit in their beds, on a chair, or the couch in the same room where I am working. I have all the beds lined up and I snuggle each one into a bed with a blanket and pillow. I can easily crate your dog or keep your pet in a separate space. Every few hours, we take a walk outside.

About: I am an animal lover and have been since I was hatched! That's a long time. I have never not had at least one dog, cat, or fish. Presently I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 fish. I have socialized feral cats, raised raccoons, rabbits, turtles, ferrets, cats, dogs of all kinds. I currently babysit part time, my kids are grown and I have plenty of time to devote to your petcare needs. I have been a paid pet care giver for over 20 years. I have the best behaved dogs on the block (because they trained me correctly). I do not spoil my dogs or treat them like children and I wont do that to yours, unless you really want me to. If you want them on your couch or your bed, that's what will happen. I will not spoil them by allowing them to do things that are not normally done. If I stay at your home, you can be rest assured that you will come home to a house that looks the same or is even cleaner than when you left! Whether your pet stays with me or I come to them, I promise that they will be care cared for, loved and treated with kindness and respect. I have relevent references. I am a college graduate, a good driver, physically able and I do not smoke. Please consider me for your petcare needs.

Naomi M.
“I have known Naomi for almost 20 years and have known her to have 1-3 pups that she has called her own at any time. When I say “called her own” I mean she treats her dogs as her family and with that I have seen her make the best homemade chicken, veggie, and rice “dog food” that I have also enjoyed since it was a delicious protein and nutrient rich meal for all creatures. All dogs with her get the same care, food and love that family gets. Period. I highly recommend Naomi.”

Dawn D.
“Dawn is a wonderful career - active and empathetic, she loves our Hunter as much as her own. Once while we were on vacation, Dawn took of Hunter at the beach on Block Island (having as good a time as we were - on his vacation!). Knowledgeable about canine diet and wellness, she goes beyond what's on offer from most services. Madison is a beautiful town for dogs, w/ beaches, rivers, lakes and trails a plenty.”
