About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have 2 dogs now - one senior who is slow and needs lots of care and the other is young and active. I’ve watched and walked dogs for friends and family for the past 20 years. I’d love to help you with your family’s furry friend. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I’m generally home on the weekends and love to take my dogs for long walks every day. I am available to come let your dog out, take your dog for a walk or jog, or whatever else is needed during the day.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up, specifically chocolate labs and a yellow lab, as well as three cats (previously). Since I have grown up with pets, specifically from rescue organizations and animal shelters, I have worked thoroughly with them to train and help them adapt to living with me in my home, as well as help them feel part of my family. I’m a college student currently home for the summer, so I’m available most days - often all day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Pet care fits seamlessly into my flexible routine, and I’m happy to accommodate different schedules. I’ve had pets my entire life, three cats and four dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I currently live with two chocolate labs, and one of them is super high energy, so I’m used to keeping dogs active with walks, playtime, and positive structure. I’ve also spent years volunteering at local animal shelters with both cats and dogs, which has given me experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll always make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease.

“I have a high energy pitbull, Lizzy, and Vicki handled her like a pro and brought her home happy and tired after a walk. Vicki is super nice and knows how to handle large and strong dogs. Lizzy had so much fun and is looking forward to her next walk with Vicki.”

About: I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about 3 years. Every time i walked into work the dogs would get so excited to see me. It was like a win, win. I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them, whether it’s going on long walks, playing fetch back and forth, or just giving them the cuddles they want! I have a fenced in backyard at home and can let them freely run around. I would say I’m very responsible and patient and will treat your pet like family! Feel free to reach out to me anytime!! I am a quick responder to all forms of communication. I have plenty of time during the day and the evening to give your pet the best care and attention. I would say mostly everyday just depending on work. I care for pets like they’re my own with lots of love and cuddles. I like to get to know each of the dogs personality and their routines.

About: I’ve been around dogs (and cats) my entire life. I have plenty of experience with house sitting from 1 night to 7 nights. I watch pets of my neighbors, family, and whoever else who has received my phone number from Rover and referrals! I’m taking on a part-time job in Clinton, but am willing to work around that schedule. I’m flexible and will be able to schedule and plan in advance. Depending on where you and your pet(s) are located, I typically like to take them out for a nice hike, walk, or trip to the dog park. However, I understand this is not an option for some dogs who may not be socialized or leash trained very well. If you have a yard, I’d be happy to run around/play ball with your dog as long as I need to.

About: Hi, I’m Mary-Ellen. With over 25 years of combined personal and professional experience, I provide thoughtful, individualized care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I live in Madison, CT with my teenage daughter (part-time) and my dog Hunter—a sweet, well-socialized red golden retriever who’s used to sharing space with other pups. Dogs in my care become part of our daily rhythm. We take walks through downtown Madison, go for car rides, and run local errands—if that’s something your dog enjoys. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I’m especially experienced with: • Senior dogs and their mobility or comfort needs • Dogs with social or separation anxiety • Special diets due to allergies or sensitivities • Administering medications (oral and injections) • Creating routines that mirror your home to ease transitions I work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone. Whether they’re active or more low-key, I adjust to their pace and preferences. Some dogs need extra attention, others just want quiet companionship—and I’m equally happy to provide both. Thanks for considering me as part of your pet’s extended family. I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can help provide the care and consistency they deserve. —Mary-Ellen •Home-Based Care: Nurturing a Secure Environment and Prioritizing Pet Safety!• Working from home provides me with the unique advantage of flexibility, enabling me to devote substantial and uninterrupted time to the care of your cherished pets. This arrangement allows for constant supervision, companionship, and responsiveness to their needs throughout the day. Whether it's a comforting presence, timely walks, or attending to specific requirements, my ability to work from home ensures that your loved ones receive the attention and care they deserve, fostering a secure and nurturing environment. Ensuring your pet's safety is my utmost priority, and I take proactive measures by asking detailed questions about their behaviors and needs. This personalized approach allows me to tailor my care to the unique characteristics of your furry friend, creating an environment that promotes their well-being and security. A key aspect of this commitment to safety is the policy of not allowing dogs to be off-leash. This decision, rooted in safety considerations, applies consistently to all dogs under my care, irrespective of their familiarity with off-leash activities. This policy is designed to maintain a controlled setting, minimizing potential risks and ensuring a secure and predictable environment during our time together. By adhering to this approach, I aim to provide peace of mind for both you and your pet, fostering a positive and stress-free experience.

Braedi S.
“Braedi is a smart, responsible animal lover who we've entrusted with our 130 pound English Mastiff on several occasions when we've gone on vacation. I don't think the dog missed us much thanks to the great care and attention Braedi gave our four-legged family member. I know that Braedi has owned several pets herself, including cats and multiple dogs, and she has the perfect personality traits for pet care: patient and caring. I enthusiastically recommend Braedi for anyone's dog sitting needs.”
