About: I’ve owned and cared for my own dogs for over 25 years, all of them rescues. I have a deep love for animals and a soft spot for those in need. My pets have always been part of the family, and I’m known for spoiling them with love, attention, and treats (within reason!). I’ve nursed several of my dogs through illnesses, always going the extra mile to make them feel safe and cared for. I bring that same level of compassion and commitment to every pet I look after. I’m recently retired after 31 wonderful years with Chardon Local Schools, and now I have the time and flexibility to focus on something I truly enjoy — caring for animals. I’m home most of the day, which means your pets will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just relaxing company, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved and comfortable while you’re away. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether I’m stopping by for a drop-in visit or taking your dog for a walk, I treat every pet like my own — with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

“We were extremely pleased with Nancy. She was caring and concerned for our pet, Sophia. She kept us updated by text and photos during our time away, which meant a great deal. Would recommend her highly and would definitely request her again if we need to be away!”

“She was amazing with my dogs! She loves them as much as they loved her. I will definitely use her again!”

“This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little hesitant to book someone for our 3 dogs. We decided to book with Taylor for the week. During our vacation, I was sent so many pictures of the dogs and so many updates ( I wanted a lot of pictures and updates!!) - it was so nice knowing that the dogs were being cared for. You can really tell Taylor enjoys doing this and I know my dogs enjoyed their little vacation too. When we came back, the house looked nicer than before we left. Taylor did a great job! We will definitely be requesting her again :)”

“Alex was an excellent house and dog sitter! He was available last minute, as we had flights booked for the next morning, and made time to come and meet our dogs right away. We came home to happy dogs and a clean home. Alex went beyond our expectations and we are looking forward to using him in the future.”

About: I’ve worked at a Vet Clinic and dedicated my time to helping animals in my career as well as for my friends and family’s animals. I have an extra special place in my heart for our sweet seniors as well. I have lots of experience watching multiple animals in one household. I am currently a flight instructor building time to become a pilot. I would work pet/house sitting into my schedule as I am able to during the week when I am not flying! As of now, my house sitting services with animal care included will not include an overnight stay, but I will stay as late as possible and come back early in the morning. Please let me know when booking the house sitting service that this policy aligns with your plans. Pet parents know their pet best. Any request or routine you have for your pet I will follow to a T as I know pets thrive in a routine and when their parents aren’t around I will strive to keep that routine for them to make them as comfortable as possible.

About: I’ve been responsible for the care of pets most of my life. Pets are family to me. I love getting to know their individual personalities and supporting their needs. My routine varies daily and weekly. Weekends and evening are more open but, depending on the day and mommy schedule, I can sometimes be available during the day on week days. Overnight stays can be available for house-sitting if my 14 pound, male dog, Franklin, can accompany me; he is very friendly and attached to me. I will connect with you one-on-one about your pets individual needs and follow their schedule and routine as you identify me to do. I respect your space and guidelines.

About: I have loved and taken care of dogs for years. I am a Dog lover for sure. I have dog sat for family members many times. Retired so I have all day to care for your pets. About: Hi! I’m a responsible and loving pet sitter with a flexible schedule. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I have experience taking care of blind/deaf dogs from young to old and I treat every pet like family. Whether your pet needs playtime, a walk, or just company, I’m here to help! I'm in grad school and most of my classes are online or a few hours in the evening 1-2x a week. I have the freedom to hang out or drop in every few hours, whichever works best for your pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and maintaining the pet’s normal routine. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, habits, and personality to make sure they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I treat the home with the same respect I’d expect in return - following instructions closely, keeping things clean, and ensuring doors, gates, and feeding routines are handled properly. My goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible for both pets and their people.

About: I've always had dogs in my home even as a young child. I'm always the one called when a dog sitter is needed and I would have it no other way! I have taken many of my dogs to different types of trainings and obedience schools so don't be shocked if your dog learns a new trick at my home. Ok we'll also walk and play with them ☺️ William has also passed an enhanced background check as well and is my pup partner. He's also had and cared for animals all of his life. He loves all animals but has a soft spot for dogs and will snuggle your dog any chance he gets. One of us is always at home and will take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. We have low energy pets that sit on the couch all day and we have high energy pets that need constant stimulation. We will take walks, play with toys and snuggle whenever we can ☺️ We have just moved into our forever home in chardon and are working diligently to make our home a safe space for all of our fur friends! All animals eat separately. All animals are allowed on furniture unless you would prefer we don't let them. We have a heavy duty crate for crate trained pups but do allow you to bring your own if need be. Strong metal baby gates separate sections of our home to provide extra security. Please feel free to communicate any extra steps you may need us to take for your fur baby, we have plenty of space, time, love and patience to do whatever is needed. Safety is our top priority!

About: I’ve cared for all types of animals throughout my life - birds, horses, cows, snakes, pigs, sheep, and of course dogs and cats as well. There is a mix of caring for them professionally for pay and volunteering, as well as my own pets. I have always had a connection with and love for animals! I have open availability for pet care as we have our own we must be available for throughout the day. I am not currently working otherwise to focus on our house and would be thrilled to do pet care in the meantime. My husband and I have 2 sons at home, 9 and 15, as well as 5 pets - a small snake in a large, secure tank, 2 wonderful and loving cats and 2 energetic dogs. I do not work currently as I’m working on our home, so I would be available for constant care. I’m currently putting a fence up in our backyard, but behind our house is a dog park we bring our dogs to daily to exercise. All of our pets are friendly and excitable around others! We also cook our dogs food at home and would be happy to do so for our new friends.

I do have experience working with the aggressive and unfriendly as well as the overly friendly pets. If you have pets outside of the "norm" like reptiles and livestock I can also help with them. I'm currently working part-time so I have pretty open availability. I work with pets as part of my job so I know how to handle a wide variety. At this time I currently don't offer in my house care. I have 2 dogs, one of which who is reactive to smaller dogs so this isn't something I will likely offer.
