About: I’ve been responsible for the care of pets most of my life. Pets are family to me. I love getting to know their individual personalities and supporting their needs. My routine varies daily and weekly. Weekends and evening are more open but, depending on the day and mommy schedule, I can sometimes be available during the day on week days. Overnight stays can be available for house-sitting if my 14 pound, male dog, Franklin, can accompany me; he is very friendly and attached to me. I will connect with you one-on-one about your pets individual needs and follow their schedule and routine as you identify me to do. I respect your space and guidelines.

Sandy was awesome! She walked my pup, played with her, and fed her. She also sent pictures and stayed in contact. I really appreciate her helping me while I was out of town. Derby seemed so happy after being with her. Can’t say thank you enough!

About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me. I enjoy going on walks and keeping pets happy and entertained. I believe it's very important to know your fur babies will be in great hands when boarding with me. My beloved dog Mario is no longer with me; he lived for 13 wonderful years and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I haven't been able to get another one since then. Watching and caring for other pets makes me happy and brings me joy. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week. Working from Home is a blessing and has given me the flexibility to care for others pets. I do not have a fenced yard, but I live in a development that gives me plenty of opportunities to go for walks. As long as they come with a leash we will be walking.

About: I’ve always loved animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I’m patient, reliable, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own. I pay close attention to instructions, communicate regularly with updates and photos, and make sure every pet receives the care and attention they deserve. I work entirely from home, which gives me a highly flexible schedule to dedicate to pet care. I can easily accommodate potty breaks, mid-day walks, and constant companionship throughout the week. My weekends are completely open for extended playtime, boarding, or overnight house sitting. When watching pets in your home, safety and respect for your space are my top priorities. I stick strictly to your established routines, double-check that all doors and gates are secure before and after walks, and keep in constant contact with daily photo updates to give you complete peace of mind. My home is a cozy, pet-friendly space where your dog's safety is my number one priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs securely leashed during all outdoor bathroom breaks and walks. I strictly follow your feeding routines and provide constant supervision to keep them safe and happy.

About: Ive taken care of all sorts of dogs my entire life, whether theyre my own, family friends, or volunteering at shelters. I especially have a lot of experience dealing with scared or anxious dogs, this is because all of my pets are rescued from bad situations so I have learned over time how to read their body language and act exactly how they need to be comfortable. I am very available during the summer months so if you reach out I am more than sure that I will be able to work something out with you! For dog walking if there is a neighborhood I will happily walk your dog in that neighborhood. However if it is not available I have my car set up to keep your dog safe in the backseat, granted that theyre ok being in a car, this way I can take your dog to a nearby park to walk. If your dog is not comfortable being in a car and there is not a neighborhood set up, im sure we can work something out! I always bring anything and everything your dog could need on a short walk such as a water bowl, bags, extra leashes, and treats.

About: I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and parakeets. My professional background includes many years in boarding and daycare facilities, where I also gained grooming experience as a dog bather and advanced into a supervisory role overseeing boarding, grooming, and daycare operations. In addition, I have three years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a low-cost spay and neuter clinic, along with further veterinary hospital work. I have fostered dogs for 6–7 years, providing care to pets with diverse needs, and I hold a Veterinary Assistant Certification from Lakeland Community College. With both personal passion and professional expertise, I offer compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable animal care. I currently have a flexible schedule and am happy to provide pet care as long as the timing works well. As a single parent with limited childcare support, my young son usually comes along with me. He has grown up around animals and enjoys being part of the care experience, and I always ensure that the focus remains on providing safe, attentive, and loving care for your pets. Pet care is something I truly value, and I look forward to helping families with their pets whenever possible. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family, giving them the same love, attention, and respect I give my own animals. I also take great care to follow each client’s instructions closely, ensuring every pet receives the personalized care they need and deserve.

About: I’ve spent the past several years working hands-on as a veterinary assistant and dog trainer, and I truly love what I do. In the clinic, I’ve helped care for pets of all ages and temperaments, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for during what can sometimes be stressful visits. As a trainer, I focus on building trust and clear communication between dogs and their owners, using patience and positive reinforcement to create lasting results. Whether I’m assisting in medical care or helping shape better behavior, my goal is always the same—happy, healthy pets and confident, informed owners who feel supported every step of the way. I’m currently working part time and home with my children 4 days a week and when I’m at my part time job I’m only there till 12pm. So I will have lots of time to spoil your fur babies with all the love and attention! I have worked in the veterinary field for over 7 years and currently working as a dog trainer part time your pets will always be properly taken care of and looked after with lots of play time and walks! If boarded in my home if I am not with them I would have them in a crate for rest times if not crate trained we can figure something out always open to help your pets feel the comfort of home away from home!

About: Hello! I currently work at a dog boarding and daycare center. I absolutely love taking care of the dogs daily. I’ve gained tons of hands-on experience caring for dogs in a busy boarding and daycare setting, providing attentive, compassionate care to ensure each dog felt safe and comfortable. As well as feeding, exercise, playtime, and basic health monitoring while supervising group interactions to encourage positive behavior and prevent conflicts. I’ve developed strong skills in handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities while maintaining a clean, organized, and stress-free environment 🐾🩷 Pet care is a central part of my daily schedule through my work at a dog boarding and daycare center. Each day involves hands-on responsibilities such as feeding, exercising, supervising playgroups, monitoring behavior and health, and maintaining clean and safe environments for the dogs in my care. Because my workday is structured around consistent routines and animal needs, I am accustomed to prioritizing timely care, attention, and safety. This experience allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my schedule while remaining reliable, attentive, and responsive to each dog’s individual needs. When walking pets, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and enjoyment at all times. I ensure each walk is suited to the dog’s age, energy level, and temperament, providing appropriate exercise while maintaining control and awareness of surroundings. I pay close attention to behavior, leash manners, and potential hazards, and I follow any specific instructions regarding routes, pacing, or handling. Throughout the walk, I offer positive reinforcement, patience, and attentive care to ensure each pet feels secure, stimulated, and well cared for.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life! I started volunteering at shelters at the age of 13! About: Hello! My name is Maria and I am very excited to meet your furry friend! I’ve raised 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs so I am comfortable with any size pet. I also worked at a doggie day care center where I worked with all size dogs for 8 plus hours at a time and facilitated friendly play so I am able to handle multiple dogs or cats at a time! I live in the mentor area but am willing to travel as well. Please let me know if this is the type of sitter you are looking for! I work as a nurse so my schedule is pretty flexible. I care for my own pets with walks, park visits, swimming, agility and lots of playing. I am always cautious when taking care of pets in my home or another persons home. I understand that allowing someone into your home can be nerve racking so I am always sure to communicate as much as I can with home owners and follow their specific instructions to ensure the visit goes as smooth as possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
