“Rodney was absolutely great with our dogs/cat! Received LOTS of great pictures of all our fur-babies while we were gone, and he went above and beyond taking care of our house and daily chores (which he absolutely did not have to do, but we came home to that surprise!). Would absolutely rebook him again, and highly recommend him to anyone looking to take care of your pets!”

About: I have been pet sitting , including house sitting, since high school! I love all animals and have experience with dogs and cats of all ages! I have taken care of special needs animals before as well - including medication injections and senior care. I’m entering my final year of graduate school so I am beginning a phase of most writing my dissertation and other computer work! Because of that I have a very flexible schedule! I’m happy to work with you to ensure a situation that works best for your pets! For any check in services (dog walking/check in visits) I will provide message communication upon entering and leaving the house! For stays at your house I will communicate throughout the stay to update you on how your pets are doing!

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life - from playful puppies to seniors with medical needs. Each dog is unique - whether they likes long walks, a quiet place to relax, or a friend to throw a ball. I offer my care to match each dog’s personality and treat them like a member of my family. I am currently available most days of the week, at any time of day. I’m already in the habit of taking my dogs on multiple walks and frequently to the Countryside Vet Dog Park. I focus on creating a calm and loving environment where pets feel comfortable. My home is kept clean and pet-safe and is a great spot for taking dogs for walks of any distance. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and follow all your instructions - from feeding schedules, walk routines, and favorite toys and spot to be pet. I strive to keep their environment as consistent as possible so they aren’t extra stressed while missing their human friend.

“Autumn was very responsive to my booking request and was nice enough to come to the house and meet the dogs prior to the booking. She seemed to do well with the dogs and was a very respectful houseguest. All in all a great experience”

“Jackie is amazing- I asked her to watch Tucker very last minute, and she was SO accommodating. She sent so many pictures/videos of Tucker and he absolutely loved her!! I will definitely book with her again!”

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

It was super nice to be able to enjoy our trip and not have to worry about whether or not Beanie was being taken care of. Hannah even washed the sheets and left the house just as it was. We would definitely use her again in the future!”

“We were so thrilled to find someone as caring and tentative as Erica! We have two energetic huskies and Erica made sure our huskies had plenty of activity while she stayed with them. She kept me updated with pictures and updates, which always makes me feel good while I’m away from my girls! Erica exceeded our expectations, was great at communicating and was wonderful to work with. Will absolutely use her for future stays. Thanks again for watching Nella and Meadow!”

“Brianna was very responsible. She took great care of Flora and our house while we were away. Sent updates and photos and let us know when there were any issues with her schedule. We would recommend Brianna and would book her again to dog and house sit for us. Allowed us to be away worry free.”

About: Dogs seem to love me. Personally I've had 3 dogs in my lifetime, and have taken care of many with a business. I am an animal fanatic. I can guarantee that your pet will be in safe hands with me. I am very pet friendly and you can trust that I will take care of any needs that your pet has. I'm currently working full time but I'm looking to get out of the position I'm in to be a pet caregiver as well as a house cleaner. I currently have 2 dogs and LOTS of snails. I am religious when it comes to pet feeding, grooming and any medications. These animals are our family. We may not have them our whole life, but they have us their whole life. We need to make it the best one they could ever dream of. (I don't know about dog psychology but I can assume they dream. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to explain my dog running in his sleep 🤣😉)

About: We are truly animal lovers! Our yard is full of bird feeders and we always stop to pet a dog. Our backyard is fenced and secure. Bring whatever favorite things that will make the stay more comfortable. Rest assured, they will be well cared for and surrounded by love. “Faith is one of the most loving people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her patience with dogs in particular is honestly kind of admirable. For as long as I've known her she's always had a form of understanding of what to do and what not to do. To put it lightly, she loves dogs and judging on how she talks about cats I'd say she really enjoys them as well. I believe wholeheartedly she'd be an excellent candidate to work for Rover.”
