I owned a cocker spaniel for 11 years; Then, a chocolate Labrador for 8 years; he unfortunately passed in April (2023); that dog was my everything and I have not been the same since. I do not plan on getting more dogs so i have the chance to share the love i have for animals/dogs with hope it will bring some joy back into my life!! There is plenty of room for play, walks and cuddles for your fur baby! Attention is definitely what they will receive in my home!! A home full of an adoration for dogs is key to making sure your pup is happy and safe. My home is fairly big and clean with a fenced backyard, but since i am used to walking and if you prefer walks, i can do that for you as well. I am here to make sure you & your sweet baby is happy and feel comfortable & loved the time they are with me.

About: I have 20+ years of caring for animals of all types. My own dog was unfortunately allergic to grass and almost every type of food. He needed to receive weekly injections in the nape of his neck which I would administer as well as following his prescription protocols to the tee. As the general manager of several different Petcos and PetSmart's, I have amassed quite a bit of knowledge about many animals, especially dogs. I am a nutrition specialist, have experience in grooming, am knowledgeable of natural and medicinal ways to calm hyperactivity, and have extensive experience in many different types of training from proper walking, issuing commands, house breaking, interacting with other dogs, and multiple other aspects of whatever is necessary. If I cannot answer your questions, the trustworthy contacts I have amassed throughout my tenure at these establishments would be more than happy to help with their vast wealth of information. I have also had the unpleasant experience of helping dogs who are experiencing life threatening health complications and know what I am capable of, an also when it is time to seek medical attention. All credentials aside, I truly do love and appreciate animals of all kinds and can't wait to meet yours! I currently work part time and my job is a 2 minute drive from my house so your animal will never be left alone for more than an hour or less. I have a fenced in yard with trees on all sides. I live across the street from an elementary school with a massive fenced in field which is where I like to walk and play fetch and other games with dogs. I have been given carte blanche by the workers there as I have lived here for so many years so I can come and go as I please without any interference.

About: Hi! My name is Ally, and I’ve been a trusted caregiver for both children and dogs for over 14 years. I live in Oceanside with two other adults and my 10-pound Shorkie, who is the light of my life. Being a pet parent myself for over a decade, I understand just how important it is to feel confident that your pup is safe, loved, and well cared for when you’re away. I primarily dog-sat in California before moving to New York to attend school and work full-time as a babysitter. Now, I’m excited to offer dog sitting services again – both in my home and yours! 🐾 In-Home Dog Sitting (Small Dogs Only): Because of my own small pup, I can only welcome small dogs into my home for boarding. My girl is not spayed so I will only be accepting neutered males at this time. I offer a cozy, calm, and loving environment where your dog will feel like part of the family. 🐾 House Sitting & Drop-Ins: If your dog is more comfortable staying in their own home, I also offer house sitting or drop-in visits. I’m experienced, reliable, and always respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. Whether your dog needs cuddles, walks, or just a calm, caring presence, I’m here to help. Feel free to message me with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet! — Ally 🐾 Oceanside, NY **Use this link for $20 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/allya09846 ** My schedule is flexible, and I’m often home throughout the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, outdoor time, and affection. I structure my day around their needs, making sure they’re safe, stimulated, and snuggled. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, or cuddles on the couch, caring for dogs is naturally built into my daily rhythm. When dogs stay in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment tailored especially for small breeds. To ensure safety for my 10-pound Shorkie and other little companions, I only accept small dogs and always supervise interactions closely. I’m also equipped with portable pet playpens for added comfort and security, whether for rest, separation when needed, or safe outdoor time. When staying in a client’s home, I’m deeply respectful of your space and your pet’s routine—keeping things tidy, consistent, and stress-free. Clear communication and trust are at the heart of how I care for every animal.

About: My name is Celine and I have loved dogs for all my life. I grew up with dogs from a young age and after much begging, my parents caved and got us our poodle mix, Snoopy, who gave us 14 of the best years. Last year, I welcomed my own fur baby into my home. His name is Samson and he is a golden retriever puppy. He is full of energy and love and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I’m truly passionate about dogs and dog behavior and know first hand how difficult it is to trust someone with your pet. You are in good hands! I’m a part time dental hygienist, so my schedule is flexible to help you care for your pets. I’m available for early morning or late afternoon walks and midday drop-ins. Every pet parent has their own personal set of boundaries, which I am happy to adhere to your pet’s needs. Personally, my puppy still sleeps in his crate and he loves it there. Additionally, he is allowed on all the furniture, but I respect all of the rules!

About: I have always had a dog growing up and that remains the same in my adult years. It is true Dogs are a man’s best friend! Love to walk and play with dogs and the dog park is up there on my top visits. Retired and would love to help whenever its needed. Whether it is a walk, drop in, or a doggie play date I am available and ready! My dog has a doggy door that can be locked. Fenced in big yard. He is very friendly and loves to have play dates but not necessary.

About: I raised my own furry daughter from when she was only eight weeks old. For 14 wonderful years, she was in my care. She was handicapped in her old age, but it didn’t change how much I loved her or how much she loved life. (Plus, she looked awesome in a pink wheelchair). Since she passed away in 2018, I have done my best to take all the love that she gave me and spread it outwards. I have volunteered at local animal shelters, been a foster mama to dogs in need, and have recently adopted an amazing rescue Pittie named Harvey. I have earned my place as the go-to pet sitter for the people in my life. I've cared for elderly and special needs dogs, as well as dogs with anxiety, hyperactivity, and other behavioral obstacles. I have personal experience with a multitude of dog breeds—Pitbulls, Chihuahuas, St. Bernards, Labradors, Goldens, Terriers, Corgis, so on and so forth. I understand that nothing else in this world compares to the unconditional love of a furry friend, and I’d be happy to be your pet’s pawfect companion!

About: Hi there! I’m Cher, a dependable and caring pet caregiver. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or belly rubs and playtime, I treat every pet like family. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to be your go-to sitter for walks and check-ins! I recently stepped away from my 9-5 due to burnout so when I’m not exercising, journaling or photographing, I enjoy going on hikes or taking slow walks. Following pet parents’ guidelines, while exercising extreme caution is the ultimate way to ensure safety. I’ll always treat pets like they’re my own and that means ensuring they are out of harms way at all times.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my entire life but in my own home about 10 years and most recently with my own dog. I adopted Kora at 6 months and proudly say that I am constantly complimented on how well behaved she is despite never having gone to a behavior school. Training her taught me that with patience and comprehension you can achieve a lot. I love playing and spending time with her and helping develop her natural intelligence I currently have a full time job which means I cannot dedicate my day to day but my weekends are completely open to the care and exercise of your fur baby. I have a fenced in backyard and driveway to make sure your furbaby is always safe. I also do not allow unsupervised play even when my own puppy is out there so you can rest assured that there will always be two sets of eyes on them (probably more). My basement also has a door so in the event your dog does not socialize well with other dogs I can make sure they are separated at all times.

About: Hi! My name is Myasia Bradshaw. I am a student at American Musical & Dramatic Academy (or for short, AMDA) studying musical theatre. When I am not playing Elphaba on the stage and casting wicked spells, I love to put the spotlight on dogs and make them feel just as fierce & fabulous! My first best friend was named Eric (who was a cute little kitty), then came Munchie, Max and Squeak who were all black Labradors. Squeak was my favorite because he had the most energy. He was a bundle of joy and I loved being around him. As a result of being surrounded by these adorable munchkins I’ve developed a deep love for animals as they bring me great joy. Not only are they cute and cuddly but they’re always there for us! They deserve the best care - even the little rambunctious ones. Interacting with any animal makes me happy. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. This would be my third job as I work at my school as a Library Assistant during the day (from 8:45 AM-1 PM); an Usher at Big Apple Circus from 9:30 AM - 3 PM and as a live entertainer at night ( from 6 PM-11:30 PM). It seems like a lot but my schedule fluctuates surprisingly. My schedule this year (in school) is pretty flexible though. This semester we are auditioning and prepping for our showcases (live theatre performances) so times will vary depending on when they need me on set, and when they don't. Sometimes it'll be 6 PM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 8 PM. I typically work at the library 2-3 times a week, at the circus 5 days a week and rehearse everyday excluding weekends. I have never found my schedule hard to manage. I believe that communication is key in all relationships! Therefore if a set time is set in stone then I will abide by them and work around both of our schedules to make ends meet. Although I can’t board dogs because I live in a dormitory, I’m a very respectful and responsible when it comes to staying at a client’s home. I am a neat freak myself so by the time you arrive back at your home it will be spick and span! I’d love to walk/care for your animals and become their friend! The safety and care of your dogs is the number one important aspect in my book. I want to ensure that I will listen to any needs you or the pet may have.

About: I’ve have taken care of variety of animals. From bunnies to birds, to the smallest of the yorkies to the giants of German Shepherds. I I am currently a teacher full time. Available after school from 3pm -on. I am available on weekends full time. I can administer medication aswell. My pet at home is a Yorkie who is older and on a routined schedule. I am flexible to make accommodations to crate or what is necessary.

About: I have been a dog owner my whole life, and love them to pieces no matter the age or breed. I have helped many friends train their dogs and taken care of them as if they were my own. Dogs are family and they should be treated as such, with care and undivided attention when needed. I hope to provide that for whoever needs it. Dogs needs just as much love as any other person.
