About: More than just a side hustle, it’s my passion 🏆🐾 🐾Lifelong dog owner, experience as a wrangler, ranch hand, foster, etc. Worked alongside & shadowed highly skilled trainers, worked in dog boarding facilities & daycares, while also volunteering at shelters, rescues, and ranches. 🐾Home 24/7 – Your pet will always be in my care and never left wondering where I am. 🐾Mother lives with me currently, so an extra set of hands at all times! Your baby will have constant supervision and undivided attention! (Can meet her as well) 🐾 Single story home with a secure yard for safe play and relaxation. Back screen door is left open for furbabies to go potty whenever they want! (Have fake grass patches on the deck as well) :) 🐾Experience with animals of all sizes, ages, personalities, puppies, seniors, and those with special needs. 🌟My animals have always come first.. they eat before I do. They come before all. Their happiness, safety, & comfort are my top priorities. When your baby is in my care, they will be treated as my own. Working with animals has taught me patience, situational awareness, & how to understand the quiet, nonverbal ways they communicate. I believe every pet deserves to feel loved, safe, and understood while their family is away. I would be honored to earn your trust, care for your furry family member like my own, and hopefully become their new best friend! -I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule to attend to your dog's needs. -My mother stays with me, 4 eyes - instead of 2:) - My home is completely fenced in - safe for your dog to roam and run around supervised. -Back Door Screen is always open so they can go in and out when they please. -Can easily crate or separate the dogs if needed. - Neighborhood is safe and dog-friendly -Ac/heat on 24/7 for your babies ensured comfortability. I have a fully fenced yard, and two very friendly dogs. If needed, my pups definitely can be separated in a different section of the house, or crated. I have always put full dedication to keeping an eye on your pups constantly:) In my client's home, I follow every rule and expectation they imply. I take extra precautions being in the client's home, as I don’t want anything to happen to any of their stuff, or their furbaby.

About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.
“Thank you so much Roger and Amy, you’re awesome! “Mariah was the best! We booked her for visits with our cat while we were on a 10 day vacation. Everything was perfect. I would not hesitate to book her again for the next time we are out of town!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been something I truly enjoy. I was a dog mom to my Chihuahua, Thunder, for 16 wonderful years, raising her from a puppy through her senior years until it was time to say goodbye. Caring for her taught me patience, compassion, and how to support dogs through every stage of life. I also worked at PetSmart in Doggy Day Camp for about 10 months, where I supervised dogs of all sizes, monitored group play, recognized body language, and helped maintain a safe, positive environment. This experience gave me confidence handling a variety of temperaments and energy levels. I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication, as well as supporting dogs with vision loss, herniated discs, and canine cognitive dysfunction (doggy dementia). Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply wants company and affection, I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own. My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs through walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I always do my best to work with each pet parent’s schedule and provide dependable, consistent care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I stay aware of my surroundings during walks and pay close attention to each dog’s body language and behavior. My experience working in PetSmart’s Doggy Day Camp taught me how to recognize signs of stress, fear, or reactivity in dogs, as well as how to avoid potentially unsafe situations. I also pay attention to other people and animals we may encounter to help ensure every walk is safe and enjoyable. During drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s routine, make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I’m fully present during my visits and prioritize caring for your pet over distractions like my phone.
About: I love all animals I will do my best to meet up to your expectations hoping I can give the best care for your pet I can work any day and time of the week whenever you need me I have an open availability and I’m willing to do anything to support and take care of your pet and yourself. i’m willing to take care of your pets. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
