About: I have been watching my sisters and neighbors fur babies for years. They rely on me when they travel for work or go on vacation. I have watched multiple cats and dogs as well as administered a hydration IV for a senior cat. I am loving and kind and will treat your fur babies like my own. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tucker and an Australian Shepherd named Harley, I will always make time for playtime and extra snuggles and pets. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can come at a time that is best for you. If you need a consistent schedule, I am able to do that. Our dog Harley is crated trained and plays indoors and outdoors in our fenced backyard.. She is walked on a leash daily and I check for ticks and foxtails after each walk. I completely puppy proofed the house when we adopted her. Tucker is an indoor cat and I keep up on his brushing to reduce his fur balls. I put his feather wand up high when I’m not at home so it’s safer for him. I play with him every day with the feather wand to get exercise and interaction. I know which flowers are not good for pets so we do not bring those into our home.

About: I’ve take care of all kinds of pets since I was 5 years old. I have volunteered at an animal shelter for four years. I also have my own pets, who I adore. I am currently a graduate student and I also coach volleyball 2x per week. Becasue of my free (ish) schedule throughout the day, I love to take care of animals on my free time! I will carefully listen to the owners instructions, and give the animals the correct care they need. I can also help a little with training if it is necessary and of course dog walks.

About: Growing up, I’ve always had an assortment of family pets, from fish, crabs, birds, and dogs. I’ve dog-sitted around town for my neighbors, family, and friends! Taking care of animals truly makes me happy! I’m currently a student at College of Marin and intern in Sausalito. I try my best to be flexible with your pups schedule and their needs. Please let me know what works best for you and your pups in advance! I would really appreciate knowing as much info about your doggo before taking care of them. Any medical, dietary, or physical concerns. If possible, I’d prefer to schedule an in-person meet up beforehand to connect with your pets. I love taking dogs out for fun hikes, runs, beach days, and dog parks adventures all around Marin. I try my best to make your pups as happy as they can be!

“Lydia is great! She helped us walk Nova while we were on a trip and had my mom staying with Nova. My mom cannot handle Nova due to her reactivity to other dogs, squirrels, and cats. Normally they would just play in the back but our yard was too flooded to permit it. Lydia jumped in to help on very short notice and in the middle of some crazy weather. She was punctual and took Nova out on a different walk each morning that we needed her. She is communicative, responsible, and took good care of our spoiled princess baby. I highly recommend her!”

About: (Pls. Note, I can’t take dogs that shed… sorry) I have always loved dogs. Over the years, I have fostered and walked rescue dogs, dog-sat many dogs. I'm proud to say my family (husband and 14 yr old) love dogs as well. When I care for dogs, I treat them like my own. They get lots of cuddles, a ton of attention and love. I work from home and need to leave the house sometimes for appointments, but overall I am around the house except for maybe 2-3 hours a day. I love walking each day so enjoy having a dog with me! We have no other pets at this time, just a 10-year-old boy. We have a fenced yard and pay a lot of attention to the dogs that are here! They are usually either on our couch, if allowed by the owner, or near us at all times.

About: I was a dog owner for many years and now that mine are no longer here I enjoy being able to take care of others little furry loved ones. I am able to offer lots of time with your pet as I work from home. Hiking and walks, comfortable with elder pet care. I live near lots of hiking trails in a quiet neighborhood. I work from home so I can offer a lot of time with your pet. I love to hike and walk and can offer multiple daily walks, short or long. I would be gone usually no longer than 4-6 hours max. I have a large fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to hang in any room in our house and I can offer them a quiet room if they prefer that. I do have a seven year old son who is very calm and gentle. Your dogs will need to be kid friendly. I do have hard wood floors but have rugs in each room if your pet has mobility issues. We want your dog to be happy and comfortable here and will work with you to make that happen.

“To Whom It May Concern, I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation for Amy Shaw, who has been our trusted cat sitter for several years. Amy is simply the best—caring, responsible, and truly gifted when it comes to caring for animals. Our cat, Peter, is elderly at 17 years old and requires special care, including daily subcutaneous IV fluids. Amy has consistently provided this delicate care with gentle precision, deep compassion, and calm confidence. She has earned Peter’s complete trust—and ours as well. Amy is always dependable and highly responsive. She keeps us updated with photos and messages while we’re away, and she’s proactive in her communication, never hesitating to reach out with questions or observations. Knowing she is in our home gives us complete peace of mind; we know both Peter and our house are in the very best hands. It’s clear that animals adore Amy, and she returns that love tenfold. We feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives and cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone seeking loving and reliable pet care. -Abbie”

“Lauryn is an excellent rover walker. She is extremely responsive to all communications and is very flexible. She did an amazing job walking Gumbo and I would highly recommend her!”

Abbey S.
“Abbey has taken care of our three cats and did a stellar job. My notes were followed to the letter, and while our Turkish Angoras were happy to see me when I returned home, they were far from desperate because Abbey clearly loved on and played with them plenty. Turkish Angoras need a lot of activity and play so I am very sure they got it from Abbey's care. Abbey left our home clean (yippee!) and even brought fresh lavender sprigs over for my return. So lovely! She left great notes and communicated really well throughout my trip. I was relaxed and able to focus on the reason I needed to be away from home. I have already booked Abbey for another sitting gig and am lining up other times. I highly recommend Abbey's caring services. She is a cat owner herself, and a mom, so she really understands the need for good care.”
Lucas Valley-Marinwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Janaki did a great job for us . She arrived on time and was able to make friends with our dog that has a bad tendency to over react when greeting newcomers, but Janaki was able to handle this well. We liked her photos on the walk especially charmed with phot of her holding two bags of poop.
