About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. “We got pictures of Saba on adventure hikes and playing with other dogs every other day - which we love to get when away. Saba is very social, so we were really happy that Jesse had daycare dogs or walking groups each day so she could play with dogs and get her energy out. She boarded at his house for 4 nights and came back exhausted, an owners dream. He has a backyard with play space which we actually went to see when we dropped her off. She did come back with a bit of a limp which we are assuming is from a lot of play time and didn’t eat her food like normal, which again could’ve been from missing us. We’re not looking into it, but make sure your dog is ready to play! Otherwise, his communication was great and was very quick to respond and adjust schedule if needed on our behalf. Will probably look into doing walks with him in future S well.”

About: My name is Valeria. I have taken care of pets since I was a child and my love for them has only grown as I have gotten older. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. Growing up I had 3 dogs who I helped with the pet sitting, long or short walks, giving them their medications at the appropriate times, as well as taking good care of them. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. One of the most important parts of being a dog walker is having empathy for them. I am always excited to meet new dogs and help them get exercise and fresh air. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! If you have any questions do not be afraid to shoot me a message and ask away. I am currently working part time so I am available all day on the weekends and during the week as well in the morning and evenings! I live at home with a big fenced backyard which provides plenty of room for my dog to run around and play! She is very social and loves the company of other dogs.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs and even started my own dog walking business when I was ten. I love animals … maybe even more than people. 😂 I’d be honored to care for your cats and dogs while you’re away. I would love to help you care for your pets when my children are at school…and if it’s okay for them to visit with your sweet dogs and cats as well I have TONS of flexibility all day. I am very careful with pets. They are part of the family. Please tell me what you feel comfortable with and I will follow the instructions to the last detail. I have so much love to give these animals and am hoping to get to spend my time with helping them not miss you too much while you’re away.

About: I have years experience watching friends and families dogs as well as my own 8 year old pit bull. I love all animals and would love to spend time with your doggy :) I am available weekday nights after 6:00 pm and full day weekends Saturday and Sunday. About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!

“We got pictures of Saba on adventure hikes and playing with other dogs every other day - which we love to get when away. Saba is very social, so we were really happy that Jesse had daycare dogs or walking groups each day so she could play with dogs and get her energy out. She boarded at his house for 4 nights and came back exhausted, an owners dream. He has a backyard with play space which we actually went to see when we dropped her off. She did come back with a bit of a limp which we are assuming is from a lot of play time and didn’t eat her food like normal, which again could’ve been from missing us. We’re not looking into it, but make sure your dog is ready to play! Otherwise, his communication was great and was very quick to respond and adjust schedule if needed on our behalf. Will probably look into doing walks with him in future S well.”
