“Jordan was amazing. The best sitter we have ever had. She is thorough, communicative and smart! Best of all, our cats fell in love with her. She always brought a toy, spent quality time with them and gave lots of pets. Her pictures, sent after every visit, are adorable. She even handled the ever-evolving behaviors of a 6 mo old kitten without missing a beat. If you are lucky enough to book with her, don't hesitate!”

“I met Christina during the Rover meet and Greet. We had an easy and nice conversation. I felt comfortable leaving our lovely cat Miss Pepper ( and our house to some extent) in her care. My cat is an inside cat taking strides outside at night. Christina sent me pictures of the fresh meals that she arranged on the floor in different cups on newspapers- it was a comfortable experience for us and we plan to use Rover next time as well?”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been the primary caregiver for my pups the past 23 years. From house training and socialization to managing energy levels and building trust, I understand what it takes to give pets a loving and structured environment. More than anything, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m calm, attentive, and always focused on keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable! I currently work a 9–5 job, so I’m available for evening drop-ins and walks during the week. Open on most weekends! That said, I just had a newborn and will be home all summer, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule for caring for pets and making sure pups get the time and attention they need. I truly love being around animals and enjoy spending my spare time with them—whether it’s a quick walk, a snuggle session, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Whether you have a small pup or a big dog, I’m happy to take them on walks—or if you prefer, we can stay in the yard or play indoors. I’ll follow your preferences to make sure your pet feels secure and cared for. If your pet just needs some company and a buddy for a while, I’m here for that too. During my visits, your pet will be treated like part of the family—loved, respected, and given the attention they deserve in a calm, safe environment.

“Rebecca did an excellent job taking care of my dogs, fish and bunnies. She sent lots of photos and a great summary for each visit. I would highly recommend her.”

“Susanne was such a great sitter for Suki. She sent lots of picks and we know Suki was happy and well taken care of.”

About: I have several years of personal and professional pet care, but a lifetime of love for animals! I take humble pride in being the stranger that your critter who "never comes out to see anyone" is suddenly on my lap. I've cared for critters of all kinds, sizes and temperaments. Have any questions, shoot me a message! Looking forward to meeting you and your fuzzy or scaly loved ones. I am seeking to make this a 25-35 hrs/week gig with multiple clients. My availability is very flexible and open at this given time (June 2025). I commute between an apartment in downtown Hagerstown and St Mary's County (Wildewood) and care for my family's German shepherd (Freya) and teddy bear (Odin) about 1-2 days a month in W.V. Those dates are preplanned. I'm an early bird, up around 4:30-6 AM. I have a low maintenance mainecoon so she grazes all day and has plenty to do till I come home for my own kitty snuggles. I can only care for your pets on their turf or if you allow it, to take them to public parks. Both of my residences do not allow additional boarding. I personally wouldn't mind, but, rules are rule. I'm very adaptable and would love to keep any routine you have with your pets. From nicknames, babytalk, several walks a day, a bath etc... Write down your desired routine for Fido/Whiskers and I'll do my best to keep them entertained and comfortable until you're back home.

About: I've been around dogs since I was very young. I grew up in a dog loving home. As an adult Ofelia was my faithful companion for 15 years. She passed away in 2021 and soon after that I turned my grief into an opportunity to care for other's furry friends. I knew how difficult it can be to find good care for our four legged friends while we travel or while we work outside the home. This made me realize I wanted to help others find that much needed in-home care. Since then many families have trusted my family with the care of their dogs and each has become like our own, even joining in for Holiday memories! I have cared for dogs as young as six months of age to more senior dogs with specialized needs. I can administer medication and I will always let you know how your pet is doing with pictures and messages. Your dog will always be an extension to our family! I am a stay at home mom of two, an 8 year old girl and a 6 year old boy, they both have helped walk and care for each dog. Your dog will be with me most of the day and will only stay alone for around 3hr of the day. I am available 7 days a week and most Holidays, I just ask to give me a week notice just in case I need to move anything around in my schedule and to do a meet and greet if it's the first time caring for your pup. I live in a house with a fenced in yard in a very dog loving neighborhood with lots of places to walk your dog. If your dog enjoy dog parks I can bring him to one with your agreement.

“Ali did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats.. she spent quality time with them, was caring, and they couldn't have been in better hands. Will gladly hire again!”

“We went away for 2 weeks and came back to a happy cat! Amanda had kept the food topped up, there was fresh water and a clean kitty litter box. Thank you Amanda for taking such good care of our cat. And we loved the daily photographs too!”

“Carly is so amazing, flexible, and is great at communicating with us while we are away. We had a sudden death in the family requiring us to go out of town and needed to book quickly and she was able to help us out without hesitation. Even though our cats are typically skiddish, our one feels so comfortable with Carly that he now comes out and interacts with her during visits. Also, our trash can lid flew away and she found it and kept it safe. She is super helpful and always willing to help our fur babies!”

“Stacy has taken care of our sweet puppy, Maple multiple times now. She's always communicative, and is clearly, incredibly passionate about animals. When my husband and I had to go out-of-state for a wedding, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was so comforting knowing that Maple was being well cared for, and even a little spoiled (in the best way!). It's not easy for me to leave my pup behind on big trips, but Stacy made the experience 100% worry-free. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and loving sitter, book her!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We met Kate on a walk around Wildewood Blvd—one of the most well-known neighborhoods in St. Mary’s—and instantly bonded over our shared love of German Shepherds. Visiting from Frederick, MD, we were thrilled to find someone so dependable, reliable, and clearly an animal lover through and through. My pups, Vinnie and Ginger, absolutely adored her. She was not only a caretaker, but someone I’d trust again and again. Highly recommend Kate to family and friends!”

Karla S.
“I will start by saying that Karla is my sister, but don’t let that discourage you from the following. Karla is a highly caring person that treats her pets as family members. Her most recent dog was in every family picture without fail! She treats every pet with the love and respect they need. When I visit my sister and bring my dogs, she always welcomes them in her home and asks me if they need anything to make sure they are comfortable in her home, even among her kids. I have all the confidence me in saying that Karla will treat anyone pets with the love and attention they need. Karla has been around dogs of all ages, weights and different breeds throughout her life and not once have I seen her not loving them.”
