“Warren saved the day from the beginning! On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, my original dog sitter I had lined up stopped responding and I was on a major time crunch to leave for my trip. While scrolling through Rover, I saw Warren had confirmed availability for the weekend. I sent a message to Warren and within 10 minutes not only did I receive a response, he confirmed that he would be able to take my sweet pups. This was my first time ever taking them to a dog sitter, so I didn’t know what to expect, but Warren explained the process and really put my mind at ease. Through the stay, I received regular updates on how they were doing as well as photos. I cannot sing enough praises or thank Warren enough for saving the day. 10/10, will definitely be using him again!”

“I had a great experience with Debbie and Pete. This was my first time using Dog Vacay. Debbie and Pete have a great place. Their house and yard are both clean and perfectly set-up to care for their five small show dogs. They have a large fenced in yard (between half an acre and an acre). This allows the dogs to run around and play. The yard has a small kids pool for the dogs to get wet and have a good time. The dogs are also allowed inside. Debbie and Pete sent me a text with my dog sleeping on their couch. They also went out of their way to drop my dog in Charlottesville on their way to work to save me time on my return trip. Very sweet couple and I would highly recommend using them if you are going to be in the Charlottesville area.”

She is PHENOMENAL and the communication is top notch. About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!
