“I felt comfortable and confident that my two dogs would do well with Charissa. I like receiving pictures of them playing and interacting with other dogs. Charissa’s background with dog training was a real bonus. I will recommend her to other dog owners.”

“Robin is fantastic! Zuzu was at ease with her from the moment they met; she has routine and discipline expectations; she knows dogs on all levels; and the pics I received throughout his stay were great!! THANX A MILLION, Robin !!!”

“Nathan was wonderful! I booked last minute for the whole weekend. He was eager to help. My Yorkiepoo Kili liked him off the bat! Nathan gave updates everyday, sent pictures, and even gave him a complimentary bath! Will definitely book him again. Thank you Nathan!”

“Kailee was absolutely amazing with my Doberman puppy! She boarded her for 3 days and gave her the best care I could have asked for. Athena came home happy, tired (in the best way), and clearly so well loved. Kailee made sure she got all her energy out with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and treats. Her dogs also gave Athena great company and kept her entertained, which made me feel even more comfortable leaving her. Having two acres of land for the dogs to run and play on was such a huge bonus, it gave Athena so much space to explore and burn energy safely. It’s clear Kailee truly cares about the dogs she watches, and I will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! :)”

“Mark and Daniel did ana amazing job looking after the pups for the weekend so much love and care was put into ensuring their stay was comfortable and enjoyable! They were also great about sending updates and pictures throughout the dogs stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place for their fur babies.”

About: My background screams “I LOVE ANIMALS!”. I love my line of work: fur-covered scrubs and all! I currently live in Louisa and have worked as a vet assistant since 2024. I also worked at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA for 2 years as a foster coordinator/adoptions counselor. I’m a UVA grad (2021, Go Hoos!). It’s important to me to build relationships with your pups AND YOU! Long or early shifts? No problem, I’ve been there! I’m more than happy to look after your pet as late or as early as needed! I do work 4 10hr shifts a week (M, W, Th, and Fri). I do before/after work drop-ins, lunch time visits in Gordonsville area, and weekend care! For regular visits, I am very happy to schedule a meet n greet with your dog! I focus on safety as a top priority! Because of this, I won’t walk your dog without a leash in an unfenced area, unless otherwise directed. For cats, I make sure their areas are sanitized and safe during every visit.
“Lina and her family were so excited to have our kitten cookie for a few days while on vacation. She was informative and sent pictures of cookie while on vacation. Playtime with her kiddos was her favorite! They loved her and will be booking again in the future.”

“Makelle and her family took amazing care of Ms. Ruby. I definitely could tell that Ruby had received plenty of love and exercise, which is all that that little lady wants from life. Will certainly be booking with Makelle the next time I need to go out of town. Jonathan White”

“Our Dolly girl loves visiting Courtney & we feel she’s an OUTSTANDING Pet Mom for Dolly during time away from home. Courtney keeps us informed daily with a photo and note of activity, and Courtney’s home & outdoor area are very clean and. Accommodating for Dolly’s playtime & nap activities. Once we arrive at Courtney’s home, Dolly begins to play and settles in quickly. We have changed/modified our vacation plans based on Courtney’s availability.”

“Andrea and her family are great! Definitely will be using her again! She definitely made Lily feel at home and loved since our first interaction with the meet and greet! We especially loved the updates and pictures of Lily! Thank you so much Andrea!”

“Charity Ann took wonderful care of our dog Dooley while we were out of town. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and was so in tune with helping Dooley adjust to his new surroundings. Her dogs and cats are adorable. Charity Ann sent pictures and updates which we so appreciated. Will definitely have Dooley stay with her again.”

“Our doodle had a great visit with Christine and Charles. We received regular updates and pictures on how everything was going. Their location & setup provides everything a pet needs. Looking forward to using their services in the future.”

“Natasha and her family took care of our dogs like they were members of their family. Other places offered our dogs to " let out" every few hours from a shed. Natasha looked after our partially deff and blind senior citizen pug and our ball obsessed boarder collie in their own home. The dogs were always around someone who could play and love on them.”

“Heather & her family were a great match for Mía. From the Meet & Greet, to drop off, asking how to best care for her, and pick up…they were responsive, informative, and caring. Thank you!”

“My puppy had a wonderful time boarding with Elizabeth and Denton for a week. Elizabeth sends great daily updates so I knew that my pup was in good hands throughout her stay! She got plenty of exercise and attention, and their setup is safe and secure. I’ll definitely have her stay again!”
