“Karen is incredibly attentive and kind. She made us feel comfortable right from the start, describing the structure and schedule for our pups during their stay . The property is large and secure . Throughout their stay, we received incredible update photos . We feel very fortunate to have come across Karen and look forward to trusting her with our two pups in the future.”

“Stephanie was great with my Poochie. She took care of him as her own. He seemed to be comfortable and at home while being watched, which gave me peace of mind, I will be using her again my next weekend out of town! 🥰”

“Thank you so much, Boo had a lovely time she wasn’t stressed at all when we picked her up . I loved all the update pictures. Really put my mind at ease.”

“Maellen did a wonderful job watching our Lab while we were out of town. She installed complete conference with us and updated us with photos and messages while we were gone. She made our Lab feel at home and was well taken care of. She is great with taking care of your pets and we would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.”

“This is the 4th time I’ve left my dogs with Bonnie. She goes out of her way to spoil them with food and love. She makes them chicken without my asking and they devour it. She puts a special blanket on their favorite chair where they look out the window. She sent the cutest photos. I’m so happy to be able to rely on her to take good care of my dogs.”

About: I absolutely love dogs, and will treat your baby like mine. I got into this because finding good care for my dog is such a stressful experience as my tolerance for risk is extremely low. I am a nervous dog mom and will care for your pets like they are my own, they will be safe and secure with me and you will get as many updates as you would like. I’m available for boarding on the weekends as well as from Tuesday- Wednesday night. I work in ABQ as well so if you need someone to stay at your house during the week while you are on vacation I am happy to do that as well. In clients home I want to make sure I have a good understanding of their routine and behavior. Having a high level overview of your dog will help me care for them. A former roommates dog had a thing for people on skateboards so when we were on walks, I knew I needed to hold him tight as they were passing. Understanding your dogs quirks will help me care for them.
“Patricia always does a great job taking care of my doggies. One of my dogs in particular is pretty emotionally sensitive, but seems to have a good time at Patricia's and always appears relaxed and happy in the pictures and videos Patricia sends. Patricia has also been able and willing to administer medicine and feed according to specific instructions. She was very flexible with us picking up the dogs later than anticipated after flight delays. Very happy we've found such a great sitter for our beloved dogs. She makes this part of traveling so much easier on me!”

“It is so nice to be able to be away from our boy and know that he is being well-taken care of. We are blessed to have Cecilia and Dan love and care for our boy. They are wonderful!!!”

“Josie, Pete & Paco are the best crew to take care of your pup! Josie always sends great updates and pics & you can tell how much she and her husband really care for your dog. We’ve had 2 dogs stay with Josie and I’d highly recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to have a great time while they’re away!”

“Rebecca was outstanding! She clearly loved and cared for our puppies during our recent trip, and we'll definitely use her again. We couldn't be happier with the service. From our first meeting, she put us at ease about leaving our pets, and she provided updates with adorable pictures that showed how much fun they were having. It was a huge relief knowing our puppies were in such caring and friendly hands.”

“Pat was wonderful to Smokey and a great help to us. She was very knowledgeable and had great advice for our senior dog. I definitely recommend her!”
“Jamie and Patrick are trustworthy and reliable! They were both able to take on a last minute request, and I am so grateful for finding someone I can trust to take care of my dog in Albuquerque!”

“Great care provided by Melissa! She was kind and welcoming before my pup's stay, sent tons of pictures during his visit, and he came home happy and exhausted (exactly what I wanted!) Thank you so much for a great stay Melissa!!”

“My dog and I met Cindy and her dog before we boarded with her for the first time. It was apparent right away that she was capable of providing a good, caring home environment for my dog. I felt very comfortabke knowing he would be in the best place away from home. My 12 year old dog takes daily meds that were adminustered properly. He ate his meals, was abke to go into the yard and enjoyed her glass front door to look out. I highly recommend Cindy as a dog sitter and have booked our next visit She is the type of person you can feel confident leaving your beloved pets with.”

“First time using Mina and Hannah and they were great. We received many updates and pictures and our dog had a couple of walks in a short stay. Also quick to respond with the booking process.”

“Courtney was wonderful with Scout , I appreciated how Courtney sent us pictures & updates on how Scout was doing. We’re so happy & pleased that Scout found a new friend ~ ?????❤️”

“Rachel was great. I was nervous to leave my new kitten as she was still very young, Rachel was knowledgeable and I felt safe leaving Bianca with her. She was very attentive to messages. Gave me updates and pictures everyday. Would definitely use her again if the need arose.”

“They have become my new dog sitter. They are very flexible, responsive, and accommodating to my schedule. They also send photo updates of Hammer with his new friends!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Los Lunas
This was Pete's second stay with Karen. He's a high energy dog and loves running around Karen's large property. The "dog house" is comfortable and safe and she is wonderful about sending updates, photos and videos. Karen really cares about her clients and I trust her without reservation to take great care of Pete.
Thank you to Karen. She was wonderful with my dog Lulu. She kept me updated everyday with activities they did during the day. I was nervous leaving my Lulu for the first time and she completely put my mind at ease with the pictures and communication. Lulu loved Karen and the treats she sent home with us. Thank you and we will be back for another stay.

Mike did an excellent job caring for my dogs, and I’m very grateful for how attentive he was throughout their stay. He provided multiple updates and sent photos and videos of them exploring and enjoying his great yard, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. It was clear my dogs were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Mike was professional, reliable, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. I highly recommend his services and will absolutely book with him again the next time I’m out of town.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
