About: There is no animal that isn't my friend. I've been a dogwalker for the last year on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and am looking to continue dogwalking services for the Hudson area. I have been taking care of cats both professionally and in my own home since I was a small child, have administered various medications, seen to animals with special needs, puppy care, kitten care, you name it. When I am not pet-sitting, I am a poet who moonlights as a proofreader/copy-editor. I am available Monday-Sunday any time. I have recently moved to Hudson and am eager to take on new clients and discover the various hiking and running trails. My apartment is unfortunately not currently suited to house any large pets, although I am able to host smaller dogs. I am very respectful and accommodating!

About: For the first time in 10 years I do not have a dog of my own, so I'd love to help take care of others! I am currently working full time but I am able to go home daily on my lunch breaks to take care of your loved one! My home becomes your pet's home! I view pets as children. I will enforce and backup your rules/training, but other than that, they are more than welcome to make themselves at home!

About: I have grown up with animals always in and out of the house so I have a lot of experience. We also foster kittens and momma cats which gives me such an understanding of animals! I am currently a Full time student at Columbia Greene. I am unable to have a full job right now so I can focus on my studies. Being able to pet sit is helpful job for me. And I am happy to be able to help those who need it. In my own home my dog has a perimeter collar so she can roam freely. When I watch others dog I like to keep them on their leash and or stay outside with them while they okay or go potty to ensure they are safe.
“Brianne stayed in my home and kept my mini golden doodle, Murray, for nine nights while we were traveling with our family. We met and chatted before we left, she met our family, she arrived promptly the day we left, and took Murray on walks and play dates and car rides. We set her up in the guest room and Murray has checked a few times to see if she is there. He clearly likes her and she has a good energy. It is a tricky situation for her walking into a stranger's home with a stranger's dog. We spent a lot of time talking to her and she is smart and interesting with an interesting career and so much to chat about. Brianne did some of her work here at the house and everything was very good. For transparency, we do have cameras in the house at access points because we do live in the middle of literally nowhere, but we also chose not to use them to assure an appropriate level of privacy. We had and have every confidence in Brianne. When the need arises I will certainly contact her early to assure that she is available for Murray.”

Sophie took wonderful care of our two kittens while we were away on a long trip. Since it was our first time using a sitter, we were pretty nervous but she was very communicative and attentive which gave us so much peace of mind. We could tell that she was going above and beyond to make sure they had lots of love and attention. When we came home, it was clear they had been well cared for—happy, healthy, and content. We’re so grateful and would love for Sophie to watch our girls again sometime.
