“Jairo boarded our dog in his home while we were traveling over the weekend. He and his wife were very attentive to my dog’s needs, and treated her like their own. We received cute photo updates of her cuddled on the couch, sunning on the patio, playing with their dog, and enjoying evening walks. Jairo is very experienced and patient with dogs and is a natural at reading dog behavior and providing safety and comfort in his home. We even had a couple of meet and greets to discuss my dog’s personality ahead of the trip and to ensure my dog got along with his animals. He appropriately introduced his animals to mine, and it gave us reassurance that our dog would be in good hands. Everyone became fast friends! She was so spoiled and loved! Highly recommend Jairo and will definitely be booking again! 🐶”

“Maria was amazing!! I am definitely using her again and recommending her to family and friends. She sent me photos and videos everyday of our fur baby. She treated Alli as her own!!”

“Tenashia was super sweet and cared for my little guy super well! I was nervous to board him the first time but the photos and updates put my mind at ease! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to book.”

“Simone was wonderful with my Luna! She enjoyed her playtime with the other dogs and kids. She Gave us updates and pictures daily. She was really great for our first experience of leaving our little girl for vacation!”

About: One of my favorite times of the day is the quiet morning walks with my two pups. Besides my own fuzzy babies, I have experience fostering many types of dogs and cats throughout the years. In college I worked for a pet sitting service. I am also CPR certified for cats, dogs, and humans alike. Rest assure your pets will be taken care of like my own when you are away. I am currently homeschooling my daughter, so early mornings and late afternoon/evenings will be when I am typically available for drop-ins and walks. My schedule is typically more flexible on weekends and holidays. The pups I board will have lots of attention from myself and my daughter throughout the day. I will making sure all doors and windows stay locked. My backyard is fully fenced in. Safety is always my number one priority. On walks, your dog(s) will always be leashed. They will get clean, fresh water at all time. I will clean up after your pets immediately, wash any pet-related dishes or bedding before you return.
“Rana took great care of my baby over the weekend while I was out of town! She was attentive to Cher’s needs and communicated any concerns she had. I loved the pictures she sent and commentary of Cher’s stay :)”

“Louie seemed happy and well taken care of when we picked him up from his stay. I’d be comfortable bringing him back to Allyson. You can tell she cares about animals and their wellbeing.”

About: I’ve had multiple animals since I was a kid and now I am 25 years old! I have dog sat and walked dogs for years. I love them and I’m happy to make your doggies happy. I work full-time Monday-Thursday but I get off around 4:00 and I am free afterwards. Friday I work til noon and Saturday-Sunday I am free all day! I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every dog in my care. I have a big yard and plenty of room for dogs to run around, play, and feel at home. I love going on walks, playing with pups, and making sure they get the attention and exercise they need. I’ll always prioritize their safety, follow their usual routines, and provide plenty of love, patience, and care. I’m happy to accommodate special needs and make sure every pup feels safe and cared for!

“Our 70lb puppy can be a handful! We know. Lol. He is such a sweet dog, but might have a bit of an unhealthy attachment to his family. He definitely developed some big anxiety along the way and we have had difficulty kenneling him anymore. He needs some special attention to help calm him and he needs to know he's loved. We almost had to cancel our trip, but Tabitha agreed at the last minute for a meet and greet since he had never been around cats. She agreed to board him after we saw he was unfazed by the cats. She definitely cared for him very well! He didn't come home traumatized from being separated from us. He is active and moving as if nothing ever happened! He has a mean bark, but if you can get past it, you'll see he is just very protective and can be just so sweet. Tabitha went out of her way to make him feel at home!!! She is definitely a very loving animal person and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again and again!! Thank you Tabitha!”

“Jahzah is amazing! She provided regular updates with the cutest photos, which gave me a piece of mine while I was away. My dog was clearly happy and well cared for. I will definitely take my dog back to her. I felt like my dog was truly on vacation as well! :)”

“Adria provided a great experience for our first time seeking an outside sitter for Bear. She sent picture mail of him and was able to keep up with his energetic temperate and curiosity. Will definitely be using again in the future!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Loreauville can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Loreauville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Loreauville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Loreauville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
