About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

I offer dog boarding in my home with a secure, fully fenced yard, a clean environment, and clear communication throughout each stay. I provide regular updates and photos so first-time clients can feel confident, and I strive to build long-term relationships with both dogs and their owners. My goal is to offer safe, reliable, and loving care that makes families feel comfortable booking again and recommending my services to others. My day is planned around making sure dogs are fed, exercised, and given attention before and after I leave for work. Mornings and evenings include outdoor breaks, walks, playtime, and calm downtime. During the workday, dogs are safe and comfortable with access to water, cozy resting spaces, and a peaceful environment. Since I have two dogs of my own, I’m very mindful about routines and only accept boarders who are a good fit for my home. On a weekly basis, I stay on top of cleaning, laundry, and supplies to keep everything clean, calm, and welcoming. I provide a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for dogs boarding in my home. My home is located in a dog-friendly neighborhood and includes a secure, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor breaks and playtime. I carefully follow each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special care instructions. Since I have two dogs of my own, introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully, and I only accept boarders who are a good fit for my household. Dogs are always supervised when together and separated as needed for meals, rest, or comfort. While I am at work during the day, dogs remain in a safe, calm environment with access to water and comfortable resting areas. Cleanliness, consistency, and communication are always a priority, and I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: Hi! We’re Maddie & Joseph — a pet-loving couple with a lifestyle built around dogs. We offer a calm, loving, and active environment where your dog is part of the family. I (Maddie) have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have always been hands-on with training. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I am self employed with a flexible schedule. I'm a lifelong pet owner and prefer to care for cats or small dogs only (no large dogs over 50 lbs please). I'm the aunt to dog nephew Goose and have had a cat or two in my home my entire adult life. Homeowner of 18 years, stable and reliable. I own my own business and set my own hours which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I prefer to work late mornings, afternoon, and evenings (not an early riser). I would prefer to come to your residence to care for your pet(s). I can feed, water, clean litter, play, give attention, affection, and exercise them there. I can also clean up any accidents or puke. I'm more than happy to be with your pet(s) for an hour or longer.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.
