About: *While I am no longer offering overnight housesitting services, I will do all-day constant care visits with your pets for up to 12 hours a day (timing is very flexible)!* As a lifelong animal lover, I have cared for a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and hamsters! I have worked with animals in all stages of life, from kittens to older dogs, and have experience administering all types of medication to dogs and cats as well as caring for pets with chronic illnesses. From quick drop-ins to walk or feed pets, to staying all day or overnight to keep your furry friends company, I have provided all kinds of services based on what is best for my clients and their owners :) Growing up, my older sibling was a Bichon named Rascal who was truly my parents' first child. Apart from the endless love and entertainment she brought me and my family, caring for her in her older years showed me the ups and downs of being a pet parent. From the late-night emergency vet visits to hiding pills in her food, I learned valuable lessons from growing up alongside her. She truly instilled in me that pets are members of the family. As the animal advocate in my household, I single-handedly converted my dog-only parents to lovers of all kinds of pets. Convinced I would grow up to be a lawyer, as a 12-year-old, I somehow not only persuaded my mom to take me to the SPCA to look at cats, but I also managed to have her bring home two! We have managed quite a zoo over the years, including rabbits and hamsters, with the most animals at one time being two dogs and three cats! However, apart from caring for my own animals, I have experience petsitting for friends, neighbors, and even people who heard about me from Facebook or word of mouth! I know how difficult it is to leave your pets when you go away, and how stressful it is finding a new petsitter. I have cared for many anxious pets, and as a pet owner of a very anxious dog myself, I know that it is vital for not only new pet parents to trust their sitter, but also for your pet to trust me as well. I would love to meet you and your pets if you are looking for a reliable but fun sitter to keep your furry (or feathery) friends company while you are away! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have! *Since Rover does not offer an all-day sitting in your home service option, I have used the housesitting service option for this rather than for overnight stays.* I work from home most days, so I can spend up to 12 hours in your home with your animals! While I can spend time with your pets every day that I am available, read below for what hours I can be there on certain days! Currently, I am on summer break and only working from 3-8pm on Mondays and 8:30am to 11am on Wednesday mornings until mid-August. I am also a master's student in Clinical Psychology at Penn State Harrisburg during the year, but I have a very flexible schedule! Starting at the end of August, I can only do drop-in visits or walks on Wednesdays (anytime before noon), Thursdays (timing to be determined), and Sundays (after noon). While I may not be able to stay all day, every day, we can make a tailored schedule to make sure your pets get all the love and attention they need while you are away! With my ability to do most of my work online, I can accommodate a variety of needs you and your pet may have. I am also able to do other house-sitting tasks you may need, such as watering plants, light house cleaning, laundry, or even grocery shopping!

“Christy has been an incredible walker for my dog. She is responsive, sends numerous updates during the walk and is incredibly trusting. She even brought her two kids over to play with my dog and made his day! She is someone I will continue to book for drop ins and dog walks because she goes above and beyond to make sure my fur baby is cared for. Allen loves her! Thank you Christy!”

“Caleb is personable, friendly, and energetic enough to keep up with our lively puppy. Stella would always return her walks with Caleb happy, joyful, and yet ready for a nice puppy nap. Caleb even took the extra step to come over for an introductory visit to meet Stella, get acquainted, and talk us through any concerns/answer questions. Highly recommend using Caleb & Julianna.”

“Jenny is wonderful. Our boy loves her!!!”

About: My love for dogs began at a very young age, nothing can make me happier. I assisted my mom in running her kennel for many years, (we had 6 of our own) i was able to learn a lot from that and even got familiar with delivering puppies and working with dogs on behavioral issues before they were placed into their permanent homes. At 18 i got a job working as a kennel technician at a local pet shoppe, after showing my hard work and dedication i was given their assistant manager title! and i now own 2 dogs of my own, Everest & Copper. I am always willing to see if i can make something work out! my schedule does have a decent amount of free time at this time, and what better way to spend it then with your amazing fur babies? I truly believe that its all up to the owner, every dog is very different and has their own schedule and way they like to do things ! communication and listening to my clients is very important to me in order to make sure I'm respecting wishes and making their pup comfortable and happy as possible during our times spent together.

“Elise was amazing! She helped with daily drop in visits for about 5 weeks, and was awesome the entire time. She came over for a meet and greet beforehand and Bia loved her! Elise was super communicative and took so many pictures for every visit. I definitely recommend Elise for any doggie needs, and will definitely request her again if ever in the area! :)”

“Alysha was great with my dog! She filled in when my other dog walker went on vacation & I’m so happy to have found her!”

“Alyssa is great! Very professional and communicative and takes GREAT care of our dog. Could not recommend more highly!”

About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life, and have owned multiple rescue dogs since I was 22 years old. I often assist my neighbors and family with their pets. My dogs are 100% my top priority! I have 2 small dogs who I currently take out every 2-3 hours. I am a dedicated dog momma that prioritizes them, making pet care a daily routine. I adjust to the temperament of the dog. It's important to make them feel comfortable in the home at all times. I let my dogs graze, with food and water available to them at all times. But this can be adjusted to your pups needs. We also walk daily (at least once a day), and treats are provided after successful potties outside. I also provide a variety of toys, blankets, and beds for my dogs.

About: I’ve had many different kind of animals as pets over the years. Mostly dogs of medium and large sizes but also petsitting for family member’s smaller dogs. I’ve also had cats, rabbits, ferrets, and more. I love animals and I’ve never had any bad experiences with them. I love walking and playing with them and just taking care of them in general. I’m currently working full time but I’m available on the weekends. I’m more then happy to watch and walk and play with any find of animal. I currently have a Shar Pei mix that gets along with other dogs and cats. My two cats are very comfortable around dogs. I thrive to make an environment where all animals can feel safe and relaxed.

About: Have rescued and cared for dogs of every size and age and fostered 3 dogs for military families on short-term and long-term deployment and currently care for a cat and mini horse, too. I teach private guitar lessons and perform for local gigs, also produce music and create art so am home often or within a few miles. I have a multi fenced yard and three levels in my house, guests may play with my 3 dogs and cat or be safely housed on a different level or even crated if preferred

About: I've personally worked with a professional dog trainer, a doggy day care, and a pet store, so I have various knowledge when it comes to how to interact, play, treat, walk, watch, and love your dogs. I also have personal experience with seniors, puppies, special needs and x-large large dogs. I also have much understanding and experience with cats and kittens as well I'm currently Part-Time, which means I will have more time to watch over and love on your babies. Weekends and holidays are no problem either. I believe (and have experienced it with my own pets) that pets are more comfortable in their own home, and that's why I offer to come and house/pet sit in the safe haven that is your house. Your pet will get treated, and spoiled, as if they were my own

About: I have 3 fur babies of my own and they are my kids! Pets are what I believe make the world go ‘round. They are always excited to see you after a long day and no matter if they got into the trash or chewed up a shoe you cannot help but love them. I have always treated everyone’s pets like my own. When I visit the first thing I do is go pet the dogs/cats! I am a huge animal lover as well as my significant other. I am currently available days, evenings and weekends and would like to go full time with pet sitting or walking. I will be having a baby so for now I am looking for part-time or vacation sitting/walking. The care I provide to each dog/cat will be based off of the needs of the dog/cat. I have experience in giving medicines as well. I will be willing to take care of your pet just as you would if you were home.

About: I have a genuine love for animals! Growing up, I planned to get into the veterinary field. This didn’t pan out, but I interned at a local vet hospital and was a small animal science major my first year of college. I grew up around cats and dogs and always have treated them like they’re part of the family. I usually enjoy being around animals more than most people 😅. I work from home most days (about 75% of the time) and can be available to spend a great amount of time with your pet! I look for guidance from the owner on their expectations surrounding their pets and like to hold to the routines as much as possible to ensure the best care is provided.

About: I've owned dogs and cats since I was a kid and love animals of all kind. Would love to give yours some attention during the day when you can't or hang out with them while you're away this summer! I'm self-employed and therefore have a very flexible schedule. Other than a few scheduled trips, I'm always home or in the area. I have tons of flexibility to help out. It's really difficult to trust someone with your pet- I totally get it. I'm a mom of two (12 and 2), a small business owner in the community, and a volunteer at my child's school and within York County. I'm happy to work with you to communicate boundaries and preferences. Safety and trust are really important to me and I hope that I'll be able to make you feel that way.
