About: Animals have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and are my biggest special interest. I grew up taking care of a multitude of different pets including cats, dogs, and birds…I love them all! I make sure to stay up to date with new pet care and training ideas. I believe in using positive reinforcement to build strong and healthy relationships with our pets and have taken courses in dog body language and have familiarized myself with Canine and Feline CPR and heimlich maneuver. I generally work in shifts of 4-5 hours so the longest your pet will ever need to be left by themselves is 5 1/2 hours My husband is a student and the university and can also help take care of pets if needed/wanted. I have an associate degree in animal science so I am comfortable with any medical care that might be required for their care as well. I was really worried about my cats being alone while I was getting married and on my honeymoon out of town. Kati came over to meet my cats a few days before we left and allowed me to show her around and how to care for them. She did a wonderful job taking care of them. One of my cats is very skittish and doesn’t do well with new people. Every visit she included a picture of them which helped put my anxiety at ease while so far away, My skittish cat was clearly comfortable with her even coming out to play and get groomed. She even cut their nails and brushed them for me. Kati was a wonderful pet sitter, I 10/10 recommend her and will definitely use her again.
Amanda and Cody always do an awesome job! I've booked them for drop-in visits many times, and they've been willing to help when something unexpected comes up, like making an extra trip to check on the kitty for us when we were worried that a summer power outage might have turned off the air conditioner.
