She gave Maverick so much love and attention while we were gone for the weekend - she took him on the longest walks, gave him extra cuddles on the couch, and comforted him when some bad weather rolled through. Our dog Maverick is a big boy - 130lb Boxer-Bloodhound - and she was the first sitter who has ever met him that hasn't greeted him with some type of apprehension. She sent TONS of pictures - at least 50 more than we've ever received - and we knew from the start that he was safe and in good hands. We will absolutely be using Maricella at any and every opportunity from this point forward... ESPECIALLY since Maverick was looking all around the house for her when we got back! About: Hi! I'm a 28 y/o dog mom new to the area! I have a sweet little 10lb cavapoo who I am obsessed with and who adores other dogs! I'm home all day (Army wife life) so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, whether it's playing with them or taking them on walks around the neighborhood. I'd love to explore the area with your pet, or just give them the snuggles they’re used to while you’re away. My dog is a rescue who I raised from puppyhood—so I don’t mind accidents, teething, training, etc. I’m vigilant about safety with dogs, especially around cars and roads, so you can rest assured knowing I won’t let anything happen to your pup. I also grew up with two very energetic dogs in my home and I know how important pets are to each family. I'm happy to get to know your pet and any quirks they might have--places to avoid, special care they require, anything at all! Little more about me: I’m from the Midwest and have my Bachelor’s from U of M! I spent the last few years in the Washington, DC area with my husband as he went through medical school & residency. We’re an Army family but still hold our Midwest roots dearly :) I work part-time remotely, so I’m home and available all day and in the evenings. I’m happy to stop by to play with your pup and take a break from work, or go on my evening hot-girl walk with your dog by my side! I will treat your pet like my own when they’re in my home! We love to play, wrestle, and snuggle on the couch! My dog has free rein so she lounges on the couch, her beds, our bed, etc. Your dog is welcome to do the same! We can assess how the dogs get along and decide how to leave them if I have to step outside—we also have baby gates where I can separate the dogs if that’s best. I do not have any children so there aren’t little toys for your dog to get into, and I’ll keep all food and shoes put away. I like to think my apartment is quiet and cozy, so I’ll be sure to provide a calm environment for your pet! I am able to go to your home and meet your pet in their familiar space. I am open to all notes and tidbits about your home, your neighborhood, etc so that your pet has the best experience with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, mostly my own and some family friends’ when they go on vacation. I’ve mostly dealt with smaller dogs but I have no problem with larger dogs. I currently own two dogs and one is a senior dog so he requires a little more attention. I can do basic care such as feeding and going for walks but I can also bathe if necessary. I currently work part-time and am in school for my bachelor’s degree. I’m taking a few summer courses but they are online so they don’t require too much of my time. My work schedule is relatively flexible as long as I have some time to work things out. I’ve done feeding and walks, whether it be for the restroom or just to get some exercise in. I live in a house with a large fenced backyard so my dogs are able to freely roam so they don’t like to go on walks much but we do take them out from time to time. I also play outside with them on a daily basis since they enjoy that. I usually bathe and groom my own dogs as well as some other dogs people have asked me to do.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. For the past three to four years, I have consistently house-sat and pet-sat for family friends with multiple dogs and cats at once, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, overnight care, medications when needed, and keeping pets on their normal routines. I also have a Doberman of my own, so I’m very experienced with high-energy dogs and understand how to stay patient and calm with reactive behaviors. I value the safety of animals over everything, while still understanding the importance of the exercise and enrichment activities for your little one! I have cared for pets of all varieties including cats, dogs, chickens, and guinea pigs, etc. I have always loved animals, so growing up I would jump at any opportunity to help care for the pets of family and friends for extra money starting around my high school years. I currently have 2 cats and a dog at home, all of which i have cared for since they were young. That being said, i know the importance of maintaining a schedule with dogs and I practice this with my own by having scheduled feedings throughout the day, going for walks multiple times a day, all while providing a trustworthy environment! About: We have worked with animals in all stages of life. Have helped train in the past. We love dogs and love the opportunity to take care of yours. We will be able to come home for lunch to spend a good amount of time with them mid day. We both currently work full time and are free after 3pm Friday until Sunday evening. We know it can be difficult trusting your fur baby with someone new or just not having them by your side but we would love to do anything to help you and your fur baby feel comfortable with their stay. We have a park right by our house to walk and intact with other dogs. You dog would have the opportunity to run around play on our property where we would take your dog for a walk and play. Although we both work full time we would make your fur babies our top priority. Our house is puppy/ dog proof. We want you to feel comfortable with us as well as allowing us to take care of your baby.

About: Hi, I’m Kacie! If you’re like me, you worry about your pets being well taken care while you’re away and making sure the person watching them loves them as much as you do. I am a school teacher during the day, and absolutely adore animals. I have two mini dachshunds, Tucker and Marlowe, and I have a cat named Sadie Belle. They get along with anyone that walks through the door. I have personal experience with house sitting for my friends and their families when they go on vacation, travel out of town for the weekend, etc. I will accommodate to all needs of your pet. If you don’t want to have to stress about whether your pets are in good hands, I am your person! During the summer, I will be home all day every day to care for your pup(s). I will make sure that potty breaks are a regular thing and your pet(s) are never alone! I have a fenced in backyard for potty breaks and playtime with my two mini doxies. They will keep your pets company. I can also crate your pet if needed. Crate is provided.
