“Marlene, took such great care of our pup while we were away on vacation. She provided daily updates/pictures to let us know how Nova was adjusting which gave us peace of mind knowing our girl was in good hands! Nova came back healthy, happy and clearly well-loved!”

“I am one satisfied customer. Ryan took excellent care of my dog for one week. He stayed in contact with me for the duration of the week via text and emails. Ryan sent several pictures not to mention asking questions pertaining to my dogs needs. He is an excellent dog sitter. Trust me when I tell you booking him is a fantastic choice!!!”

“Roman was incredible. He sent us daily pictures and videos and was very communicative. He took such great care of Luna for 2 weeks, taking her for long walks in the park. We will absolutely work with him again.”

“IIiana is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our July was so at peace and happy. She sends pictures and updates throughout the days. She had July for 4 days and we're so appreciative of her loving care. She's our permanent sitter now. Whenever July needs a vacation she will go with her AUNTIE IIIANA! THANKS AGAIN TO YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY. MANY BLESSINGS. 🙏🏽🙌🏽💯❤️”

“Christina was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while watching Kyrie! She sent tons of pictures, kept us updated throughout the day, and made us feel completely at ease the whole time. We trusted her right away, and she really came through for us when our flights were delayed and we needed a last-minute extension. Communication was clear, quick, and super helpful. We’d ask her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Christina!”

“Sabrina was amazing with magnolia! I’ve had unfavorable Rover experiences in the past so planned ahead and did a meet and greet. I could tell instantly how warm and genuine she is- she even read up on the notes before that meeting. I felt super comfortable heading into our weekend away. During the weekend she gave several updates and was generous with photos/ videos all descriptive of magnolias characteristics. I knew Magnolia loved her stay with Sabrina when I picked her up and she kept looking back for her to walk away with us! I will absolutely book with her again whenever she’s free!”

“Karla was amazing! I will absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to watch their dog. I have an 80 pound Bernedoodle who is 1 year old- which can be quite a handful lol. Karla sent me photos of him all throughout the stay. She has a backyard so he was running and playing all day. I picked him up an hour ago and he’s already sleeping like a baby. Karla is incredibly kind and trustworthy. She even gave us a card with pictures of our Apollo along with some gifts🥹 thank you Karla! I will definitely be using her services again whenever I go away.”

“Janise and her family took amazing care of my dog Faith! She suffers from some anxiety, but they were patient, brought out the best in her, and kept us updated frequently. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Christine was such a fantastic caretaker for our miniature schnauzer! Her two dogs were friendly and kept him busy all week and they looked like they had a lot of fun. I was sent plenty of fun pics and videos throughout my time away. Would definitely book again!”

“Sarah gave Dante an outstanding stay caring for him while we were away visiting family do 3 days. She sent plenty of photos and kept us updated several times a day on how he was doing. She took Dante on 2-3 walks a day and gave him plenty of opportunities to make new furry friends at Central Park. Highly recommend Sarah and hope we can work together again!”

“Euitae is very professional and flexible. Vito looked well taken care of and seemed right at home with Euitae and Winston. I’m glad Vito has new friends in the neighborhood!”

“I was a bit skeptical using Rover, and a bit nervous to leave Dilon. Paloma explained the process and was very helpful. I loved that Dilon stayed in good hands and I was able to have peace of mind. Paloma kept me informed of Dilon’s day to day, she would answer promptly to the messages and would also send pictures regularly. Thank you again for taking good care of Dilon.”

“This was the second time my Noodles spent time with John. He came home super calm, happy and tired which is so unusual for this energetic puppy. Thank you so much!”

“They were amazing!! I was receiving numerous pictures throughout the day with little updates. They were very super responsive. It was my first time using Rover and they made it an amazing experience”

“Amanda was absolutely incredible with my mini poodle Mia! It was the longest Mia and I were apart (a three week stay), but I felt incredibly connected to her through the daily updates and checkins Amanda provided. She gave Mia extra love and specialized food when Mia got a little stomach bug during the stay. I highly recommend Amanda's care for your pet!”
“Ivette and Gonzola were incredibly caring for my dog! They provided many updates and pictures, and he looked so happy and well cared for in all of them. I’m so happy to have such reliable caregivers for my little dog!”

“Mykala was awesome! She took great care of Saffy and was really flexible when my travel plans changed & I had to book an additional night. I've already booked Mykala again for my next trip and I know Saffy will be excited to see her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Little Ferry
Our dog had a great time staying with them! He had a hard time adjusting at first and marked his territory, but they were incredibly patient and understanding. Before long, he settled in and became much more comfortable. They were the most responsive and communicative sitters throughout his stay. They kept us updated, flagged any concerns calmly without causing unnecessary stress during our wedding weekend, and took amazing care of Chase—even through the fireworks over the Fourth of July weekend. We're so grateful for the love and patience they showed him, and we'll definitely be booking with them again soon!

We had a wonderful experience with Edelann and Lax and felt completely at ease leaving Buddy with them. They were communicative, warm, and clearly treated him like part of the family. Buddy had a great time - he loved playing with their dog Akira and enjoying their big backyard, and it was clear he was happy and comfortable throughout his stay. We also really appreciated the updates and the attentive care they provided. We’re so grateful for the love and care they showed Buddy and would absolutely trust them again. Highly recommend!

Wan is absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of our pup and we’re convinced he loves it there more than home. It’s so nice to have peace of mind that your pet is being taken care of just as you would when you’re away. Wan was even incredibly flexible and accommodating when a snowstorm kept us from getting home on time, keeping our guy for a few extra days. So thankful for her!

Jolandi is the best!! She took care of our Lola and did an amazing job. Jolandi sent picture and videos everyday to keep us updated, took Lola for walks. We will definitely be coming back to Jolandi in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter. Thank you!! Jolandi.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
