About: I have loved animals my entire lifetime. My journey started with horseback riding at the age of 5. I grew up working with horses and doing plenty of barn chores. Fast forward some years and I slowly changed over from horses to dogs!! I always had a family dog, but, once I got my first Siberian Husky 5 years ago- that changed everything! We got our Husky at 8 weeks and unfortunately he was very sick. But, with lots of TLC, he is now a healthy and happy boy! When I got him, I decided to reach out to a local trainer in my town who helped me with obedience training through Ghost’s first year. It taught me so much about the breed and just how spectacular & smart they are. With a breed like a husky, training can be the difference between an unruly dog who destroys your house or a well behaved dog. I’ve learned so much from the breed and dogs in general. I actually prefer my dogs (and animals in general) over most humans lol just kidding…kind of :) I’ve since gotten a second husky pup who is now 2. She followed the same training regimen as my first and is the sweetest, sassiest little girl. I have a lot of experience with puppy training and am a natural animal soother. Animals, especially dogs, tend to gravitate towards me. I think they can sense how much I appreciate them and love them. I continue to learn everything I can about training, different breeds, etc. and recently took a class on the science of dog training. I have some experience with training adult dogs, but, have had much more experience with puppies. My dogs know many commands- I’ll list a few of the basics: heal, walking heal, sit, down, stay, the word “no”, etc. They even press a button to tell me when they want a treat! I have a lot of fun teaching them. Even though they are trained, I continue to test them periodically at home and out of the house to maintain their skills. I have a fenced in yard at home but we still love to go for walks around our road, go for “Sniffari’s”, hikes, dog play dates, etc. I also work closely with my sister, who has her basic training knowledge with adult dogs- so together we are able to take on dogs from puppy age to adult age. I also groom- although I am not licensed to do so, I started grooming family pets years ago. I currently groom 2 golden doodles and 1 schnauzer/poodle mix. I have ever expanding knowledge and patience for days because I truly love my furry friends. My life revolves around my fur babies and I enjoy spending time with all dogs- and maybe even your dog one day if you are reading this til the end :) feel free to inquire more or if you have any questions about anything at all! I currently am taking a summer break from my part time work, so my schedule is flexible. I generally make a lot of time for my dogs and doing dog activities, so, I can easily add another dog into the mix or make time for your dog separate from my own dogs. If Rover goes well, I would love to continue working with dogs as more of a full time role instead of only here and there. Because dogs are such a huge part of my life already, I would love to have Rover work be my main occupation. They say you never work a day in your life if you love what you do, and I truly love working with animals and always have. At home I have a fenced in yard with cameras covering all angles of the outdoor areas. I also have indoor cameras for when I am away (for my own dogs). I have toys for playing inside and outside the house and even though I have a fence I would still watch closely to make sure everything is ok- especially in the beginning when things are new or a dog is coming over for the first time. If your animal is going to be mingling with my own, I would make sure that they are introduced to each other before letting them play together. Because I have two, I would introduce them one by one to your animal to be sure they are comfortable. If for some reason one or both don’t mix, then they can be easily separated. Obviously this will vary depending on if my own dogs are involved or not. My dogs don’t have an aggressive bone in their body, but, huskies sometimes tend to be a bit aloof and socially inept lol so they tend to rub some dogs the wrong way but not in an aggressive manner. They are just a couple of goobers 🙂 but so, so friendly and absolutely love playing with their established doggy friends and meeting new ones! I have never once seen either of my dogs snap, bite, etc to any other dog, EVER. I would still supervise efficiently to ensure all animals safety, no matter what. If I am at your residence- I will listen closely to what you need for your dog and follow those instructions. If there are not exact instructions, I will do my best to ensure the safety and happiness of your dog. Upon meeting new animals I like to get down on their level and let them give me all the sniffs they need to get to know me and maybe even a treat, too! If I feel like the dog is unsure or skiddish, I might spend a little more time giving them attention before going for a walk, etc. because I feel it’s important to establish a relationship prior to going forward.

About: I have been dog sitting for multiple families for around 10 years now. I am 27 years old and work full time. Beginning January of 2025, I will also be starting school (mostly online). I prefer to care for pets in the clients’ home. Animals are more comfortable when they are on their own territory and are sticking with their familiar routine and surroundings. I like to meet with all my clients in person before pet sitting, so I can get to know them, their pet, their pets’ routine and needs, and also allow the pet to get familiar with me so they aren’t overwhelmed when I first come over!

About: Throughout my years in high school I was a caretaker of 3 dogs and 2 cats after school everyday of the week. I grew to care and love these pets like they were my own. I had so much fun taking them outside for their daily walks and playing catch around the yard, it was the best job I have ever had because it was loads of fun! Unfortunately, I had to retire my pet sitting job when I went to college back in 2012. Now I work from home and would love to start pet sitting again. I live in a house with a big backyard so it is the perfect place to play catch with them and I live in a residential area that loops around perfect to go for a nice walk too! I requested her on extremely short notice (within 3-4 hours) and on busy holiday. I was worried that my new automatic feeder stopped working for my kitty while I was away. She not only responded promptly but arrived at my place within 15 minutes to save my kitty. If it hadn’t been for her, I’m not sure if I would’ve received the same care for Majikku. About: I've taken care of variety of dogs and cats. When living in California I took care of two senior Dachshund with a series of medications and injections. I am also great with younger animals, I love to play with them and work out their energy. I’m currently working full time as a health care worker Monday through Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and 7:30-12:00pm on Friday. I am available for walks, feeds, pop ins outside of those hours. My time is more flexible on weekends! Ask me about a day and I will do whatever I can to make it work! I will make sure all the pets needs are met. Water bowl refills, plenty of play time, feedings if needed. Overall safety for your pet is my first priority! I have had digs of my own with tons of energy. I currently have a senior cat and a kitten (two ends of the energy spectrum) I will treat every animal like my own.

About: I am 36 years old. I'm a manager at an Inn and I have a bachelors in business. I lived in Vt for 4 years and loved it. I have 2 cats and a gold fish. Both of my cats are rescues, one from vt who I found on my porch in the middle of winter and the other from a barn. I taught my cats to sit and give paw ;). I love dogs, I have been pet sitting family and friends dogs for a number of years including labs, English mastiff, and bulldogs. I volunteer at 2 local animal shelters where I give the dogs exercise or play with the cats. I love going for hikes or swimming and both are always better with a dog. I work part time but can make whatever works for you with providing care, whether it be feeding, walking or home care. Overnights can be possible I can take care of them in your home preferably but can bring them to mine on a case by case basis. Whatever is needed

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs ever since I was a kid. I would take them on long walks and groom them and cut nails if needed. I’m unemployed for now so I’ll have time to play and walk! If anything changes I’d let them know. But, for now I have time to get your animal moving throughout the day. I usually follow the instructions of how the pet owner would like their animal taken care of! If they have a fence yard or crate, however they like it I’ll follow!

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 13 years old. My neighbors and family and friends have relied on me to; walk, feed and provide play time for their furry family members. I currently work full time. Although I have a flexible and rotating schedule with multiple consecutive days off every week. I have plenty of time on those 4 days to walk dogs and play with them for as long as needed. I would be able to walk, feed and play with your fur baby in their own home. “No wallpaper he did everything I asked him to and more and was available on such short notice. I am not from the area and I'm living with my two cats in a small camper trailer so I needed somebody to go check on them and make sure everything was okay. He kept in touch sent me a picture of one of my kitties and even cleaned out the other litter box that I didn't ask him to. Unfortunately I'm at the hospital so I haven't been able to get home and see everything myself but he seemed very trustworthy and I think I would use him again for sure”
