She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. About: I currently have one dog and two parrots of my own. I was raised on a horse farm where I learned to care for and have utmost respect for the animals that I am around. I have fostered pittbulls in the past and rejoined to loving and caring homes. I have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes along with giving medications and training structures. About: I am available for in home pet care and house sitting, along with plant care, gardening, yard and pool maintenance. I have not completed any sits through Rover yet, but have been a pet sitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. I am available for short and long term in home pet sits anywhere (but depends on where I’m traveling at that time). I am a snowbird and travel South Nov-April. I live in NE Indiana the rest of the year. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, therefore I have no trouble driving up to 16 hours to do a house sit, depending on where I am at the moment. Finally, I love photography and will most likely send you lots of cute photos of your pets. I work remotely five days a week and am able to be around your pets throughout the day to ensure they have the love and attention that they need. I will care for your pet in your home and can stay up to 1-3 months if I’m traveling. About: I have always had animals in my life all shapes, and sizes all species and breeds. I have had dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, fish, gerbils, racoons I have helped take care of horses, and cows and chickens. I have watched and cared for so many animals in my life and I love every min of it. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
