“Sally and her family were amazing!! Her husband fell in love with my bulldog and her daughter loved on my kitty ❤️ Definitely recommend!! They treated my pets and house like it was their own.”

I currently have 6 of my own dogs ranging from 5 to 80 pounds. I also have experience working at a doggy day care center. I can administer various forms of medication including eye medication, pills, topical solutions, etc. I have experience with dogs in diapers and cleaning up messes. I am excellent in emergency situations and can act quickly if your pet is in need. I will care for your pets in the safest way possible. I have experience with crating dogs and can modify the visits to whatever you need done!
About: I currently have one dog and two parrots of my own. I was raised on a horse farm where I learned to care for and have utmost respect for the animals that I am around. I have fostered pittbulls in the past and rejoined to loving and caring homes. I have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes along with giving medications and training structures. I am devoted to the animals that I get to meet and care for. I work for the IATSE union as needed. I will post the days that I am unavailable on my sitter profile regularly. Currently have open availability for pet care services. When it comes to my own pets or another’s pet, it is important for all involved to have understanding of the pets needs and how the owner chooses to have their pets handled. Every animal has its own personality and requires respect and to be comfortable with any other being involved in its care.
“Bree was absolutely amazing with my cats. She took the time to befriend them, even my super shy cat, who she got to come out on day one, which never happens. She made sure my troublemaker hadn't gotten into and left the place spotless after. She made things not only so much less stressful for myself, but I know it helped my shy girl as well! She made sure I got detailed updates and tons of pictures of them playing with her every visit. Bree will be my go to from now on for pet sitting, couldn't recommend a better sitter!”

“Amara is so sweet and caring towards the pets! She even spent extra time with our pets, fully without us asking! She even tidied up our space a bit and left the cats a goodbye present. She’s absolutely wonderful and a good choice for all your pet needs!”
“Taylor did a wonderful job taking care of my girls. I received a picture every day and that reassured me that the girls were doing okay. I will definitely be having Taylor watch my girls again!”
“Absolutely awesome experience! I can’t say enough good things about how well Hanna took care of my fur-babies. Highly recommend her and I will definitely have her over again in the future!”
“Michelle was awesome! She is very genuine and loves animals. She took great care of our kitty Hazel. She completed all of the visits as planned and sent great images and messages about the visit. She made our first experience with Rover a great one! We will request her again!”
“Carolyn was absolutely amazing with Sissy! She took the time to make sure Sissy was well cared for, making sure she was fed, let out for potty breaks, and given plenty of outdoor time to play and explore. I really appreciated how patient and attentive she was, ensuring Sissy had every opportunity to go potty and get the exercise and attention she needed. Carolyn was also very communicative throughout the entire process, which gave me great peace of mind. She was able to accommodate us on short notice, and her flexibility and reliability were truly appreciated. I could tell she genuinely cared about Sissy's well-being and happiness. I would highly recommend Carolyn to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and attentive pet sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Sissy!”

“Dominic was great at accommodating a last minute request as I was going out of town for a funeral. Did a great job taking care of my cat and giving her eye drops.”
“I really appreciate Devin’s availability and willingness to respond to me when I blew up her phone ;) I literally could not find a pet sitter in this area that would respond to me. I have a lot of anxiety about leaving my dogs, and so it was nice to have someone who responded so quickly. (On a semi-unrelated note to pet sitting, she also took really cute pictures of my dogs which was helpful to my daughter while we were gone).”
“Andrea has been fantastic with my pets each time I've had her care for them. She goes above and beyond their required care and makes sure to give them lots of attention and playtime. She communicates very well if anything comes up and provides great updates each day. I look forward to having her watch my girls again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
