About: I have worked in veterinary for 4 years and am now a dog groomer since 2025. I am canine and feline CPR and first aid certified and certified in fear free. I work a full time job but can definitely work walks in around my schedule. I cannot board any animals overnight because I do not have a crate. We have a large yard and lots of area to go for walks. There is a privacy fence in the backyard. There is one indoor/outdoor cat

Aracely let out and fed my puppy midday for 2 months until the end of my school year. She took great care of my little guy. There were two times that she canceled morning of and, with that late notice, I was not able to leave work or get anyone else to take him out. I understand life happens but my little guy did go to the bathroom in his crate both of those days. If I could give 4 1/2 stars, I would!

Karibian was a joy to have walk my dog Lani. She was professional, kind, knowledgeable and engaged in great conversation. Lani simple adores her. I had recently fallen and fractured my hip so I needed someone to walk my dog. She was very attentive to Lani, played with her and gave her plenty of loving. She also kept me company and was so kind in assisting me a few times, although she didn't have to. I will definitely contact Karibian again for any future pet needs. I highly recommend.

Kevin was the primary care giver. He was helping me care for my husky with a wound. Kevin was patient and gentle with my dog. I was unsure how to get her foot soaked for 15 minutes twice a day. I am disabled and the vets office wasn't giving me any good advice. He showed me how to get her into the tub and keep her there for 15 minutes without over stressing her. He was very impressive. He obviously loves animals, and has a talent to calm them.

Vicki was a great! This is the first time we've used Rover and Vicki did not disappoint. She responded within 5 mins of my request and was so accommodating. She popped over to our vacation rental and spent a good 30 minutes meeting us and our dog. She was super responsible and took great care of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Vicki! She was AWESOME!

About: I’ve never lived in a house without my family owning multiple dogs. I’ve always loved to play and walk them, especially my own 2 dogs now! They are very young and active, which has taught me a lot. I am a waitress so I typically don’t start work until 4 or 5 pm, my shifts are anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. this gives me plenty of time during the day to walk or check in on your pups! I have my own dogs which could play with or also be kept separated from your dog. We have an awesome fenced in backyard with lots of room to run & play!

I am a huge animal lover and would love to meet your pet and take great care of them! I will send updates with photos because I know how it can be stressful being away from your pets/family! I currently work part-time, so have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am off on Tuesdays, and Fri/Sat/Sun I only work until 12pm, so still lots of free time on weekends. I have a huge yard with lots of room for your pet to play in! It isn’t fenced in but I will keep them on a leash! I also live by the Genesee County Park where I can walk them, play fetch, etc.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Linwood. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Linwood.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Linwood. On Rover:

  • 89% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
