About: Walked and fed my neighbors dog since I was 13, until I moved out of state. Then got my first dog Maia, who is now 7. She had endometria and has arthritis and I’ve been there for her through sickness and health! Also got my second dog Peanut who is the clumsiest bullmastiff ever! He is 4 now. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. I served in the army where I have dog sat, dropped in for feedings, walked multiple dogs and house sat for multiple friends and colleagues. I’m currently transitioning from active duty and waiting for my Texas nursing license to transfer to a New York. So I’m free to take pups on long walks, spend the day with them or just pop in for feeds! I love playing with dogs and cats. I’m very loving to all animals and will give lots of pets, attention and play with them while caring for them.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I adopted my first dog as an adult about 6 years ago, and have since raised three dogs and multiple cats. I am comfortable with large dogs (I own a 90 lbs black lab) as well as administering medications and management of high need dogs. I work from home, so while I am caring for your pets I have the flexibility to take them out whenever they need and make sure they are enriched and cared for. I have a fairly flexible work from home job, so while pet sitting I will be with your pets for the majority of the time. My own dogs are all high needs. As for my pets.. My first cat was a stray found at 4 weeks that I learned how to teach to groom and care for himself. I also know how to manage ear mites, or any other kind of skin or tick care. Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!
