I am a student at Appalachian State University studying Social Work! I am home for the summer, and would love to take care of your pet! About: Hey there, I'm Kayla! I have 12 years of experience sitting dogs, cats, and even leopard geckos for family, friends, and fellow church members. I don't have any fur babies of my own, but am lovingly called the "pet auntie" by my friends. I'd love to be your go-to! I'm a teacher, so my summer schedule is highly flexible to meet the needs of you and your pets! I do stick to Monday-Saturday mornings and afternoons. While I can't keep pets in my own home, I am more than willing to travel to check-in on your pets at home.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Fur babies have a special place in my heart and I will take the best of care of any kind of fur baby. I currently have a two golden doodles(<1), an Australian Shepard(2), miniature Aussie(12) and a cat(13) I rescued from the humane society. I currently work 3 days a week and attend college. I have a pretty flexible schedule other than the days I work from 9 to 6:30. I am available on those days before 9 and after 6:30. I live in a home with a fenced in yard and three large dogs. The dogs typically spend the day with us but when we aren’t home we put them outside in a kennel.

About: I have always had a dog in my house growing up. From big dogs to little dogs, I can take them on walks, feed them, play with them, and give them all the love that they could possibly want. I am a teacher and currently have my summer off. I can stop by any time you need me. I prefer to come by during the day but will stop by any other time if needed. About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I work remotely and am home throughout the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship without dogs being left alone for long periods. My mornings usually start with feeding and a walk or outdoor time. Throughout the day, I schedule additional walks, play sessions, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level and needs. Because I’m home, I can easily adjust my schedule for puppies, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra attention or routine. I make sure routines stay consistent from day to day so dogs feel comfortable, secure, and at home. Dog care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s part of my everyday life. My goal is always to provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment where dogs feel happy and well cared for. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure doors and gates are secure, food and medications are given as directed, and pets receive the level of interaction and exercise they’re used to. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and communicate updates promptly. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: It has been a dream of mine to be a veterinarian since I was a little girl, so pet sitting has given me more opportunities to take care of animals of kinds. I've pet sat for friends and family and absolutely love it. I've made close connections with the animals I've sat for and love them like my own. I currently work at a vet office and enjoy seeing the new patients every day! I hope to be a very special person in your fur babies lives. I'm currently a full-time online college student and am a full-time worker as a veterinary assistant. If needed, contact me and we can discuss times and dates to work around both schedules. Because I pet sit and house sit, I play with the animals and cuddle them like they are my own. I stay on their feeding schedule and let them out while I'm there as well. I make sure to keep the owners posted while they are away of any emergencies that may occur. Before owners come home, I'll make sure to wash any linens that were used, wash any dishes that are in the sink, and make sure to sweep up anything that needs to be swept up. I'll take the trash out and will clean the toys up as well. Before I leave the home, I like to leave a note thanking the owner for allowing me to stay in their home and assuring them all that was taken care of as well.

About: I love all animals and they are a part of the family. I have 2 dogs and a cat that I consider my children and will treat every animal that way. I am currently working part-time and would be available mornings and evenings to take care of pets. On some days I can be available in the middle of the day for dog walks or anything else that is needed. I have a big fenced in yard with dog door access. My 2 dogs are friendly with other dogs but if your dog is not friendly with other pets I do have a way to separate them to keep them safe during their visit.

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to goats and horses, so have plentiful experience with all! I love being outdoors and active and already spend most of my free time taking my own dog for walks on the greenway or hikes in the mountains. I am extremely reliable and work from home with a very flexible schedule so am open to all types of pet care! I work from home majority of the time so will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I’m open to boarding/day care in my own home or available to travel for walks if your pet is more comfortable staying home. In the fall and winter months, I’m home most weekends so would have a lot of opportunity for weekend boarding as well! I have an almost 7 year old fur baby of my own who loves company and getting to play with other dogs. She gets spoiled with multiple walks a day on my work from home days and we have a few dog parks within walking distance that we utilize frequently. I live near downtown Lincolnton so am in a very safe and dog friendly area. If your pet prefers to be the only dog, I would be more than willing to make a couple trips per day to your home for some outdoor time and walks, as my work schedule is extremely flexible. My dog was crate trained as a puppy so I do have experience with that and would be more than willing to help with training during the day if your dog needed midday walks but was still getting comfy in their crate!

About: I've had cats my whole life and dogs since I was 6. I Shadowed a vet in Denver for a few months for vet tech training as well as worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years handling packs of up to 30 dogs. I have some training from a certified dog trainer on leash walking training as well as basic commands and behavior. I am available Most days for any service. Walks i should be able to do any day of the week and would prefer mornings or early afternoons. I have 2 cats with FIV at home that require plenty of attention from me and my family. As of now i have no way of doing in house sitting. I live in an area with sidewalks and parks with plenty of safe areas to let your best friends have a good time.

About: I have had a love for anything living my entire life! I have always had a cat and a dog and had goats for a while. I am very comfortable taking care of pretty much any animal other than snakes!! I have a toy aussiepoo and a cat and they are very special to me and love all the attention. My puppy has Tourette's and its is very sweet but I also have to take special care of her and her surroundings, so I feel comfortable with any types of special needs your pet might have. I know what it is like to find the right person to take care and love on your pets! I hope I can be that for you :) I work on my parents farm running an Agritourism Business and have plenty of extra time to come and love on your pets. I balance my schedule between farm work and dog sitting so everyone can get the love an affection that is needed. I can stay at your house, house dogs, or do lots of drop in visits. I just need time to make sure it works for both of our schedules. We have a large farm with lots of fencing so I can offer long walks and lots of play time as well as lots of bathroom time for your pet. I want to make sure your pet feels comfortable with other dogs and if not I just need to know up front and arrangements can be made.
