About: We are a family that loves animals! The kids are very hands-on with our animals including feeding and walking. Our two dogs love other dogs and are very social. We have 20 acres for the animals to take walks and get energy out. My husband and I are both teachers so we have two different schedules depending on the time of year. In the summer, we are often home and are often outside with our pets. During the school year, we are gone from 7-4 for work. We have 20 acres of land that we like to take walks on including trails through the woods. We take our own dogs for walks every morning and often in the afternoon. You will often find us outside with our animals doing chores, playing, or hanging out.

She is incredibly nice and attentive to my pup and also this nervous dog mom lol. I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.
About: I have had a dog since I was 8 years old. I am well experienced in walking, feeding, bathing, etc. dogs. I have never met a dog I haven’t liked and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. My dog is currently a senior dog so I am familiar with caring for older dogs. I am currently in graduate school so i have classes in the morning/afternoon but my evenings are very open to walk or care for your pets!! When caring in a clients home, I make sure to get clear instructions on how to efficiently care for their pet. I make sure I understand their schedule and follow it closely. I also make some time to let the pet get used to me before I do what I need to do to make sure they are comfortable.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
