We have 20 acres for the animals to take walks and get energy out. My husband and I are both teachers so we have two different schedules depending on the time of year. In the summer, we are often home and are often outside with our pets. During the school year, we are gone from 7-4 for work. We have 20 acres of land that we like to take walks on including trails through the woods. We take our own dogs for walks every morning and often in the afternoon. About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a few years ago, I adopted my kitty, Momo. Outside of my home, I occasionally help care for friends’ cats when they travel, which some times includes overnight stays, or some times just 2x a day check ins. I love playing or just chilling with cats. I’m happy to match a cat’s energy and play or not play however it seems to like. Unfortunately, I also have experience with caring for cats at end-of-life, as well as caring for cats experiencing illness. I’ve given antibiotics to my family cats and friends’ cats. My cat Momo is particularly difficult to give medicine to - unfortunately it really stresses him out, so I am very acclimated to cat scratches.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs since I was young. My family has a 14 year old Great Dane who I consider my baby. We have also had other smaller dogs such as a mini Aussie doodle and an Italian greyhound. I have been pet sitting dogs since I was in middle school and I always enjoyed spending time with every dog I met. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and I have experience with lifting and carrying very large senior dogs with difficulty jumping, as well as caring for dogs with sundowners. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. About: I am a dog mom to Freedom, my Blue Heeler of 8 years. He is very friendly and loves play dates and doggy daycare. I'm really doing this for him to have friends over. We have a small fenced area for potty breaks. Our living room is cozy for stretching out to nap. We also have an 8X14-foot deck for lounging and overseeing the backyard. I try to stay pretty relaxed and create a calm environment, but don't mind some chaos at times either. Freedom, Arya (my daughter), and I enjoy short road trips to get coffee or feel the wind in our fur. We are working on fencing in the backyard for doggy romps and sniffs. We love the fresh air!
