About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life as my family always had a dog. I have helped raise puppies and taken care of all dogs, indoor and outdoor. I have so much fun with dogs and love taking them with me on walks! I currently am a college students who has class during the days, but my classes only take around 3 hours a day. On thursdays, I do have a job I work during the day from 7 am- 3pm. I also do have a part time job that’s schedule changes week to week but currently I’m not working much there! Regardless if you let your dog out in your yard without a leash, I will be requiring a leash (if there are no fences) to keep your dog safe and others around safe. I especially think play time and walking tim are important for animals and their health! I will not be someone who pops in and out super fast and I will build a connection with your pets!

About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.

About: I am a life-long dog lover, I'm incredibly grateful to be able to provide care and affection to dogs of all ages and sizes with a range of different needs. I'm particularly fond of small breeds and senior dogs. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment near Franklin Park with my Chihuahua-Shih Tzu-Pekingese mix Martin who loves every dog he meets. I'd love to go for walks with your friend or stay in and cuddle, whatever he or she prefers. I'm at home 24/7 and my full attention is on your buddy. I'm more than happy to maintain your dog's routines and schedule and to accommodate any special requests. My goal is to make your dog's transition to and from his/her temporary home as seamless and as loving as possible. I can give your pet my full attention at all times! Happy to oblige their needs and give them all of the affection and treats they could possibly need. My home is dog proofed and I keep a watchful eye on my own dog at all times. I can avoid the other dogs who live in other units in my building if needed. I generally keep a distance from other dogs in the park, etc just to be careful.

“Blair left my place in perfect condition and made sure my 2 kitties were loved and fed! She seemed to be such an animal lover with a ton of experience with animal care. Would recommend to anyone!”

About: I’ve grown up showing and raising all kinds of animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals, cows pigs, goats, and of course smaller animals like cats and dogs. But I love all of them and have gotten very familiar with taking care of animals, and making sure they’re comfortable as well. I live on a farm, so pet care is part of my daily life anyways, and I’m used to having to fit that into my schedule, even when busy, so if I have another to take care of, that’s no issue! My animals are definitely cared for. They have a huge yard with plenty of room to run; and plenty of companions. They are played with and they get lots of love, and your pet would be no different.

About: I have always had a dog in my house since I have been a kid. A house is not a home without a dog. I will treat your dog as if he/she were part of my family. I am working part time and want to spend some time with your dog. I work every other weekend as a nurse, and have some free time during the week to check in on your dog while you are away. I can provide walks, medications as needed & play time for your dog. I can groom your dog (if they like it), too! Looking forward to meeting him/her.

16. Laney O.
“Laney has been my dependable dog caretaker for the past 5 years for my two babies, Boo and LG (short for Little Girl). 5 years ago, Boo had spinal surgery due to a progression of intervertebral disk disease. The veterinarians said that she would need constant care to rehabilitate her. Due to my and husband’s job, we couldn’t be there for our baby 24/7. After a long search, my coworker had recommended Laney; she gave me her credentials and contact info. And within 20 minutes, I set up a time to have Laney meet Boo. Boo took to Laney like white on rice. Laney was there for my baby in our time of need. Over the years Boo has improved and is able to wag her tail like she was a puppy. I thank Laney for the constant walks and attentive care that she gave Boo. Due to sporadic travel for work, Laney had to spend multiple weekends, and overnights to take care of Boo. Laney is always thoughtful and takes care of not only Boo but our home when we are away. About 2 years ago, we rescued LG, who is a miniature Boo. LG has limitations since she was abused by her previous owner. She burrows herself into blankets and doesn’t like to be touched in certain spots. When I and my husband had to travel, Laney was our first call. Laney understood LG’s restrictions and needs. Laney gave LG the time that she needed to warm up to Laney. After the first visit, LG loved Laney just as much as Boo. I highly recommend Laney. She is, without reservations, a dependable, kindhearted individual that gives you her upmost care. I know Laney will be there for us and my babies whenever I need her.”

19. Ross G.
“Ross is GREAT with my fur baby! She always knows that she is going to be spoiled with love when he is around. Ross is great on walks (even though our good girl isn’t the most experienced on a leash), and does a good job of engaging with her/rewarding her throughout the walk. Ross clearly has experience with dog manners/basic dog training and isn’t nervous around bigger dogs! I would trust Ross with my pupper ANY day of the week — and know that she would be extremely well cared for!”
