About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.

About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them

About: I was my aunt and uncle’s primary dog walker and sitter from middle school until I moved out for college. I have house-sat twice for a week at a time with no problems. They have a very energetic puppy who was 5 months old and 8 months old respectively when I was house sitting. I mostly have experience with medium-sized dogs, but I’ve socialized with dogs of all sizes. My own dog, Luna, is back home with my parents. We’ve had her for ten years and love her dearly, even when she eats grass. I have a busy class load Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings for walks and doggie dinners. Friday through Sunday are usually very open for me, and I would love to spend my weekends with your dogs! I am away some weekends, usually about once a month. I am fully willing to stay overnight with your dogs any day of the week, even school nights. For full time sitting, I will check in on your dogs every 3-5 hours during the school day. If I need to leave on weekends, I will not be gone for more than four hours at a time unless specifically agreed upon beforehand. I’m fully prepared to be nipped, scratched, and jumped on, but will not encourage this behavior. My general rule for walks is one leash per hand, for both my safety and your dogs’. As a student I don’t have the ability to bring any pets to my own residence, though I do now have a car. I am equipped for both energetic playtime and sleepy snuggles. I do not have any supplies of my own yet, since I’m just getting started here in Normal.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

About: In addition to being a dog owner for eight years, I have a PhD focused on animal behavior. As an adjunct professor, I don't get as much time working with animals as I'd like, so I'm happy to provide care to your darling pets! I work part-time as a biology professor, so outside of the couple hours a day I'm in a classroom my schedule is very flexible. I do live in a remote location, so how often I can care for a pet will depend on driving time. I believe in making sure the animal feels safe and comfortable above all else. About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my older grandparents before and I’ve had my dog for 5 years now. I am experienced with dogs and also cats. I work full time at home so I am home a lot to take care of your animals if they need somewhere to stay! I have a dog who is a Labrador retriever who is very friendly with all animals and people! I have a fenced in yard. I will give them enough outside time along with enough potty breaks and always have water available to them!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a kid and have been dog sitting and walking for about 8 years. I absolutely love animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends, family, and others have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away.
