About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, also dog sit Gemma a sharpei, I do have references! I can start in August mostly around 3pm until whenever! I’m very flexible with time and dog sitting or cat sitting I can do Mondays-Fridays! About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes & personalities. I’m not shy to specialized care needs and love to play, walk & give belly rubs! Services include drop in dog walks and play sessions and overnight pet sitting for short or long terms. I’ve cared for two large fluffy dogs with special needs for two months at a time. I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I’m more of a homebody and love to play and interact with animals in their home. Your house rules & pet care needs will be met with respect and understanding. About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. About: I have loved animals since I could remember. I have house sat for co-workers, fostered for shelters, done many trips of volunteer animal transports, and many years of TNR. My absolute dream is to own the countries largest domestic animal rescue/ranch and have law’s passed to protect more stray/feral cats. People say it will never happen but, I don’t listen to them!! Like so many others with near death experiences!! I LOVE being a nurse but after 30 years and kids being grown - I want to do what I absolutely love now. Since I live in an apartment I can not do boarding yet, but I can follow directions and am VERY respectful of other people’s private homes/spaces. I know it is very stressful for our pets to be left home alone for extended time so I would give them as much love and attention as I am requested to (I understand not all animals appreciated being loved on!!) One of the biggest compliments I ever received as a hospice nurse being on call was, that the other nurses never worried about their patients when they know I was on call that night/weekend. About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
